Assuming we can keep it from attacking us, finding (or making) a virophage for specific, hard to beat diseases (HIV for example), sounds like a great thing and a novel approach to the problem. Though I'm sure that if it decided to turn on us we'd be in trouble. I for one welcome our new virophage overloards though!

If there was a ninja war, we would not know about it until they've already beat us. Maybe the solution is to give ninja's a boat and send them in?

That is sorta the point of brackets, isn't it?

Can we get a NSFW label or something on the link to the Gawker article on the Gay New York: 101 Can't Miss Places link considering there are pics of naked people on it?

I'm surprised Chloe isn't coming back in full force for the Smallville finale. Hope its just because they didn't give her a big part for the finale and not because she doesn't want to or something like that. If you get your start into stardom on a TV show, you're on that TV show for 9 years, on of the fan favorite

That's always been more of a issue with the carriers. Apple would love to allow it if the carriers would allow the bandwidth. If they ever do, I'm sure they'll be a switch or update thrown out in about a day for it.

To be fair the article is more about how internet technologies is allowing for much more publicized celebrity breakdowns happen in front of the whole world. Charlie is just the example. Before the internet, if something like this happened, the higher ups at studios and publicists would have a chance of covering it

Slashing the price too much would cause Apple to actually lose money on the sale of the device itself, which they don't like to do. However I'm not aware of the actual cost of the device and how much profit they make on each one, which is a factor.

The one in the middle...yes the dock connector. The array of holes on the bottom left: speaker.

Exactly what I was thinking...as soon as she started talking about fairies I immediately thought that she must have seen that episode of Supernatural!

Probably because they wouldn't have made as much money off of a 13" MacBook if they did make it with higher resolution. Apple likes to keep the same price points. And the 13" was originally intended to be the regular MacBook when the first unibody ones came out. Kinda an entry point to the MacBook line. Get people

Well part of the plan is the eliminate the always visible scroll bars, like iOS does, so this makes sense to go with the moving document side. Its just going against the convention that's been there since mouse wheels and track pads have come around which was moving the scroll bars.

Remember VHS vs Beta, Bluray vs HDDVD, USB 2.0 vs Firewire...well welcome to USB 3.0 vs Thunderbolt/Lightpeak. Basically i'll bet it'll end up the same way. Most computers having USB 3.0 slots since so many things having USB 2.0 and need backwards compatability...and Thunderbolt/Lightpeak being used like Firewire is

In Lois and Clark, Lex had hair most of the time.

You forgot to look at hard drive speed, quality, size, front side bus and memory speed, screen resolution, webcam, backlit keyboard, quality of the build, materials used, OS, graphics processing, etc. The processor is honestly the last thing I look at when comparing computers.

Give apple a chance to release those peripherals. What do you think the new iPad, iPhone, and iPod Touch's are giong to use?

It would make sense since the iPad 2 will be potentially the first major devices utilizing the new features of the OS, and likely the driving demand for the new features of it. Slapping a camera, new IO slot, and slightly modifying the form factor isn't hard for apple to do, but doesn't set them apart from the new

Micro-vision did have an effect. Did you not notice the rotating and changing of Clark's irises leading up to it. They hadn't done that before...thought it was kinda cool.

I love the show and I just started watching the last year or two. Saw some of the story of season 5, liked it a lot, but wanted to catch up on the back-story and got seasons 1-4 on DVD in a bargain bin and started watching. I was hooked by the season 1 finale when they started their "Previously on Supernatural" with

Very cool idea. Maybe if they got rid of the bubbles and had stationary icons that you moved to another spot in the middle, then the passcode entry pops up or whatever. I can see the tasks bouncing around as annoying when trying to pick one, even though its kinda cool how they respond to 'gravity' based on the
