I don’t think in the vacuum of watching this trailer and not knowing anything about the franchise this is “looking for racist shit.” There is a very long and sordid history of racism using the term “yellow” to describe Asian peoples, and certainly more well-known than Homefront lore.

To be fair though, all Serkis’ character did in this movie was sit. I could’ve mo-capped that and I’m not even a very good sitter.

I’m sorry, but having sit through the LOTR movies, Star Wars is far richer storytelling by about 12 parsecs.

Re: the Jedi mind trick. Someone (Ren) states early in the movie that it is fairly easy to trick the weak-minded. We also learn that the stormtroopers are all conditioned to obedience (weak-minded). That’s an interesting selection of hops. If they were aiming at the American IPA market, I think they would have used some more traditional US hop varieties. I’ve never heard of Admiral or Celeia; Topaz is an Australian hop and Challenger isn’t particularly popular. There is some Cascade - which I think you have here
