We might not want to admit it but Radiohead is “classic rock” now. OK Computer is older now than Dark Side of the Moon was when OK Computer came out.

Nope, it sucked. Even the extended ending was still bad.
It did ambiguity badly. It also shoehorned in a revelation and debate “AI and biologicals can’t co-exist” that you could literally disprove if you’d done the previous missions correctly. And it tossed aside any real consideration of the thoughts or decisions…
I’m pretty sure he just loves doing it.
Jump scares are a cheap crutch. The game doesn’t need them.
P0kemon and the newer Zelda games for me.
For BotW and TotK, they’re just too big and I definitely burned myself out on open-world games from 2005-2015. I just see the big maps with tons of little side quests and I lose motivation.
Aside from that, Pokemon is one of those franchises that I still try to get into for…
It was a lot of cool ideas and a genuine push for innovation. I really liked everything about it on release, including the kinect, which really flourished with some studios. Playing Alien and having the alien find me because I made too much noise in my living room was such a cool and immersive idea. The tv integration…
I wrote a whole blog about this (on this site! that no longer exists! fuck the herb!) at the time, and I stand by it to this day. Xbox One was way ahead of its time and some of its smart home theater conveniences still haven’t been adequately replicated to this day.
If he can’t do PT on Playstation, he’ll do OD on Xbox.
It took me a long time, but eventually I learned that talking like "the funny one" on a sitcom is not an appropriate way to behave in real life, and especially not in the workplace.
“dozens of videos and multiple podcast episodes a week”
guy thinks “I dont want to see old women on my screen and over 30 is old women” is a good take. Bold strategy, Cotton.
This show is so fucking good. They seem to be leading to some big famous bad’s but I don’t care. The Clark, Lois and Jimmy story is fucking perfect. Can’t wait to watch it each week.
Yeah, that dude is 100% Lex.
“How did you know you were bulletproof?”
“I didn’t—I just knew you weren’t.”
This show has been an absolute delight and I hope it runs for a few seasons. I’d love to see some other classic DC heroes brought into this dynamic, but I also want it to stay the Clark, Lois, and Jimmy show. I really hope if they bring in more of the DC universe it’s done in very limited amounts in one-off episodes.…
I mean, I kinda disagree with the thesis here — Clark/Superman isn’t being ignored at all, he’s very much the main character, and it’s an extremely charming portrayal of him (although, of course, “extremely charming” describes everyone and also the show itself). Clark’s getting a lot of deserved praise for his himbo…
…tell me you haven’t seen this show without saying so.
No Lex Luthor? Am I the only one who immediately suspected that Parasite’s assistant Alex was him?
After watching the first three episodes on Max, I realized that this is the kind of Superman dynamic that has been sorely lacking since Superman II. I find myself smiling through every episode.
Looking into the linked article, the graph they show has “traditional gaming” being console and PC, while “casual and social” is phone/mobile, browser, and app. So the problem is that they use words that aren’t necessarily accurate for type of game, so much as type of how those games are played.
