Owls have very small brains. Their eyes take most of their skull’s space. All in all, they’re not really smart, even for a bird.
The moderators have absolutely no incentive to unlock their subreddits. Its a ton of thankless work, and they don’t even get paid for it. If reddit won’t let them use the tools that make their volunteer job more manageable, they have nothing to lose by not coming back.
Subreddits going dark for three days sends the message that whatever Reddit does, they’ll always come back.
At a glance, this doesn’t look like a huge leap forward from MK11. I’m sure it improves on things in many under-the-hood ways, but after 4 years I was expecting more. And hey, I loved MK11 and I’m sure I’ll enjoy this as well if it ends up being more of the same, except for maybe those Kameo fighters. That just…
It’s one of the few times it actually makes canonical sense. The story mode from the last game was all about time travel shenanigans so resetting the timeline is perfect.
EXPLANATORY GOD
Given the hardware the game is pigeonholed to and the technically impressive nature of the game itself, it’s performance is pretty commendable.
I think the BotW games are terrible and it should be self exclamatory if you play games regularly.
I think it’s a bit weird that nobody is factoring in the performance of the game. Reviewers are bashing AAA games left and right for performance problems lately and I don’t think excusing TotK having a fluctuating 20-30 fps frame rate is healthy either.
I find myself aligning wholeheartedly with the sentiments expressed in that review about BotW. The game, to me, was a veritable journey into monotony, and I find myself in deep agreement with each critique articulated. We could engage in an infinite debate over the precise numeric rating it deserves, but ultimately,…
As I get older, I find myself enjoying a good story more than gameplay. The exception would be actual sandbox games like Factorio or Kerbal Space Program. Zelda BotWto me is somewhere in the no-man’s-land inbetween. No good story, very rudimentary sandbox. I would understand if it mostly appealed to players who shy…
“changed how many saw open-world experiences”
“-changed how many saw open-world experiences with its freeform approach to exploration, combat, and puzzles.”
My issue with it is that for those of us who don’t have hours upon hours to sink into are left directionless and have no idea how to proceed except for to aimlessly run around. That’s where Elder Scrolls and Breath differ. If I want to run through the story in an Elder Scrolls game I can do that. I can explore if I…
Am I the only one who thinks Disco Elysium feels like college undergrad masturbatory pseudo-intellectual rubbish?
I feel like BOTW’s open world hype is forgetting that open world non-linear adventures were already an established genre. I think the community at large forgets that Elder Scrolls games have been doing it for a long time already. Even before Skyrim, the Elder Scrolls were sending players off into massive sandbox…
You could have played it on your phone’s browser you giant ass.
I love that “pros” don’t know to keep distance. Melee is a sure way to get killed, which is def what the Mangler is, a close range weapon with a literally pair of blades on it lol
