Best thing about that movie was that car scene. It was perfection.

Hopefully the BBC will give us official word soon.

This sounds like a ret-con specifically written to address my point and explain why a bunch of Jedi die like Bothans at the hands of a bunch of punks.

Well, yes. But they serve as excellent high level cannon fodder to Darth Vader making the best entrance ever and fighting Ahsoka.

I don’t know if it’s on Disney+, but Condorman should replace Flight of the Navigator, which really doesn’t hold up very well. It’s a great concept, but the movie itself really drags. Condorman was like Disney looked upon me as a nascent nerd child and said, “Here, this is a movie especially for you.”

He actually sounds less firm in his refusal this time, having not compared it to some kind of physical torture.

Hooray. Please more star trek beyond ensemble story that doesn’t involve Earth and less 9-11 truther t and a that was into darkness.

So, Kingdom Come Batman confirmed, right?

So... that’s the Kingdom Come Batman, right? I mean, it’s not just me that’s seeing it? Pretty much a dead-ringer for the eco-skeleton Bruce was wearing all through that story.

The Charlie’s Angels movies were a vehicle to have Cameron Diaz dance in her underwear and expose Drew Barrymore’s cleavage in a fairly tame PG-13 setting.  It was basically pornography that your mom would take you to.

One of the comment people here (Batista Thumbs Up) had a pretty good reply in the last Newswire post on this. Basically, nobody cares about Charlie’s Angels as a property - the only reason the 2000 movie was even as a successful as it was, was because two of the three leads were super-stars at the time (and this made

It was known as a ‘jiggle’ show, so you are absolutely correct.

Was Charlie’s Angels ever really for women though? I thought the whole point was that it was super male gazey. (This is a genuine question; I’m too young to have seen the show.)

Yes, although there are people complaining about all the Spider-man movies.

Lyla in the Harbinger suit sooooooooo goooooooood.

OK this is the first thing I thought of when I saw “dope”:

It’s been 3 years ( and I’m still pissed off CBS decided that they had to dump the final season in late spring so the finale ended up with me watching it on a plane -_- ) and I love that every show I see talked about on io9 ends up getting referenced to POI. Truly the best show of the decade.

Did you catch her shirt that said “DEAD AF”?

I am now 99 percent certain that Eleanor is going to wake in bed next to Bob Newhart.

My favorite little touch: during Eleanor’s funeral, the banner hanging over the bar that reads “YA DEAD!”
