Yeah, been using it on my Nexus 7 for two years and never had to sign up for anything, just dl’d the API.

I’m not talking about the characters, I’m talking about as the reader. If I don’t have any hope that a world is anything other than horrible things happening to people, then I am no longer vested in that world. Frankly, it’s unrealistic.

As I’ve said before, this is where both the show and books have lost me. There’s no hope, which means I don’t give a single shit about any of the characters, which means I don’t care what happens and I’ll go watch/read something else.

As others have said I wouldn’t bother with using Kodi on a phone, but for accessing my large music library from my FireTV I like it a lot better than the competition. Unfortunately there is (so far) no native Fire version and it has to be side-loaded and a workaround used to access it.
