Agreed, I think Stewart phones it in somewhat these days. I'm okay with this, though. It's a natural thing to have happen after so long, and the material is still very strong.

I'm what you would call 100% Black and I think he is hilarious. Maybe you just don't like him, and that's ok.

He does television arguably better than most people on it.

I am so wet for this outfit right now. AND THAT HAT. I bet the fabric feels delicious!

you GUYS. I am a regular jezzie and Kate Hansen is my cousin. I just am so excited to see her on here. she's seriously this amazing, funny, and dance-y in real life. she's doing great for a first time Olympian and we are so proud of her. couldn't have someone better to rep the family - she's so great. USofkAte!

Honestly, looks better than London's opening ceremony which featured no less than 45 minutes of Kenneth Branagh simply stomping about fake terrain looking excited.

It was my favorite opening ceremony I have ever seen. I assumed it might be as boring as London, but it was fantastic! I loved all of it. I just wish I could read Russian to be able to appreciate it even more. It does appear that most people are disagreeing with this article.

so basically it's like every facet of society? Do you really think a boycott would accomplish much? In fact, Coca-Cola (a global company that uses athletes worldwide in their Olympic campaign) wouldn't take a single hit, nor would most of the partners and sponsors. NBC would likely take a hit, but then they'd just air

Exactly. When you compare the Olympic games from 1980 to today, advertising dollars have gone through the roof. I agree with the BS idea that we can't boycott because of poor athletes like Shaun White and Shani Davis. I do however think a boycott in this case would be pointless because Putin would just use it as

I honestly thought the performances and the visual effects of the animations on the floor were amazing! however, I just watched entertainment tonight on abc and although they make everything sound super dramatic- their coverage of the ceremony and all 5 rings not unfolding was just absolutely ridiculous. like

I can't believe this is being criticised. It was absolutely beautiful, and very creative.

Have to say Jezebel, getting real tired of your xenophobia. The first man in space was Russian and they made a reference to that. The US history has some pretty dark chapters, even recently, it doesn't stop you from celebrating your accomplishments. God knows you guys like to toot your own horn...

All this Russia-bashing is too much. They actually HAVE donated real works of art and culture to human civilization, though most Americans don't seem to know this.

I loved all the costume design, and many of the other visuals (like the blueprints that became a city) were incredible. Screw the snowflake/ring snafu, this was a feast for the eyes.

I liked it! The music! The ballet! The Fireworks! So one goofy ring did not work, big deal!

They're not rainbow coloured though. Not everything will primary colours is rainbow coloured. They look more like parrots tbh.

I should follow up and say that we shouldn't be knocking her at all even if she is in a relationship with Putin. That would be very un-Jezebel-like.

It isn't ODD that we have chemicals in our food. It's the direct result of the de-regulation of agencies that used to protect us and the corporate ownership of our gummint.

Prince, I will give you $12 and bring a vegetarian (or vegan, your choice) casserole if you perform anywhere nearby! Heck, I'll even make a nice dessert.
