I worked for six years with a bunch of folks from the Baltimore area and can attest to the weirdness of the mid-Atlantic accent. I picked up just enough to confuse people when they try to figure out where I’m from. People just don’t understand that Maryland and Baltimore really only have two syllables.

You know who’s the opposite of that? Angie Harmon. On Rizzoli & Isles she SOUNDS like she smokes two packs a day, but IRL she has this sweet, slightly high-pitched voice.

I’d star you a hundred times if I could.

When you film these seasons back to back, 2 or 3 weeks does make a difference.

That was with the old production schedule. Now, they start filming each new season before the previous one ends now. Don’t believe me, ask Reality Steve.

The jilted woman from the final 2 is NEVER the next Bachelorette. Same goes for the jilted guy at the end never being the Bachelor. The filming schedules for the shows just don’t permit it.

Do you really not know how much white men are into Asians? She’s the perfect “diverse” choice for a very white-washed show.

I am a huge rollercoaster fan, but the rides like this that move you sideways and tilt up and down all while showing you widescreen videos make me feel sick every single time. Nothing else ever makes me nauseous, not even spinning tea cups. These take the cake, though.

Isaac a professional rock climber. He also works as a tour guide taking people on rock climbing tours. Relegating him to a bus boy (something he sometimes does in the off-season) is just wrong. No offense to the bus boys out there.

You're talking about healing/medication. That's what Blistex is. It's not meant for everyday protection.

Burt's Bees is definitely not lip gloss and it's awesome. No petroleum products in it.

I'm not sure exactly which religion the Duggars are, but I can tell you that coming from a S. Baptist background (atheist now), most of the fundamentalist religions believe everyone is born with sin. There is no such thing as a "sinless" human being, which is what made Jesus divine - he was (supposedly) born without

I don't think it's a mistake at all to use one actor to portray both Frank and Jack Randall. The entire point is to have Jack look so much like Frank that Claire experiences terribly conflicting emotions when dealing with Jack. He looks *exactly* like the man she loves and she has a hard time pushing her feelings for

It's not so much that Dougal isn't handsome, but he's not at all how I imagined him from the books. I assumed he would look like Jamie but have more gray in his hair. Instead, he is completely gray with a pretty large (though well-groomed) beard. Still, he comes off as very confident and competent, so I can see how

Yeah, it would be nice to be an "approved" commenter. I've been on here for nearly two years now (between io9 and Jezebel) and have never been followed by either site. It's slightly frustrating.

I have to agree. This is not a good look for him. Not at all.

I don't think it looks any more "modern" than Barristan's haircut. Several members of the King's Guard have the same short haircut.

I'm so glad to see someone say this. Until I saw the trailer before X-Men:DOFP, I had absolutely no interesting seeing EOT. It looked really dumb and uninteresting. I was too busy to see it this weekend, but I am definitely going next weekend.

Really? Those of us in the Central Florida area generally try to pretend the bottom third of the state doesn't exist.

I was born and raised here in Orlando (moved away for a 10 year stint and came back!) and it doesn't suck if you make smart choices about where to live and what industry you choose to work in. It's got problems just like everywhere else, but I love it here. #OrlandoDoesntSuck
