Anna Jane's house/school fire is very sad. She grew up in that house and live there forever. To see your entire disappear in smoke must be a horrible feeling.

I have a friend with a seizure disorder who haa a dog trained to press a buzzer to alert her neighbors that she needs help. The trainer claims he used an iPad as part of his tools. I thought he was BSing me.

Aww, they're cuties! :) I don't shave my Cresties' muzzles either, and think they look adorable that way.

I actually have two of these little guys! I rescheduled them 2 years ago. They are twin brothers. In general chinese crested are not "ugly" but rather cute... or "interesting". I can't go for a walk with them in the city without someone asking about them. They are a fun breed to have! And they are so loving!

Actually, the dog in the low right corner is a Xoloitzcuintle, this breed is not related to the Chinese Crested dog.

Okay, I grew up in this Ugliest Dog Contest town. You'd really have to see it before you can make a judgement like this. I have a small dog (~ 10 lbs) and I use a retractable leash to walk him in SF. He's not particularly well trained, and doesn't listen to me when I try to get him to move in one direction or the other, which is definitely my fault for not putting in the effort to train him correctly. Read more
