The reason why “Black Lives Matter” is a meaningful mantra is the fact that so many people clearly believe the opposite. No one is saying “Black Lives Matter More Than ...,” they’re saying “Black Lives Matter The Same As Every One Else.”

I saw on Twitter someone posted (paraphrased), “saying ‘save the rainforests’ doesn’t automatically mean ‘fuck all other forests,’” which I appreciated as an analogy for all this “all lives matter” nonsense.
It’s the same logic that hears about diverse casting and thinks about the poor white actors being denied a job.
Exactly! The correct response - if you’re white - to “Black lives matter” is to say “Yes. Yes, they do” not “BUT WHAT ABOUT ME?!?”
I will never understand how people seem to think that someone saying "Black lives matter" somehow means "everyone else's life doesn’t" like what kind of mental gymnastics does someone go through to need to shout ALL LIVES MATTER in response?
When was war declared?
I think the best part is that this was basically a police action by the Iranians. So all these knuckle heads that tell people to comply with local authority or face consequences should quit the friggin’ double talk. Gotta love election season.
Well yeah, but if your GPS is broke, good luck finding said line while bobbing around in a itty bitty boat. It’s not like a river or the DMZ where the imaginary line is obvious to all.
Fox News humiliates America everyday.
An “imaginary line” that even America completely recognizes, and tries to respect, along with many ther countries.
So...Fox News feels that when a local authority (cop) tells a person, who happens to be in the wrong place at the wrong time, to kneel and put their hands up, that they should comply without question. However, when the local authority (Iranian Navy in Iranian territorial water) tells people (the US Navy), who happen…
Humorless? Have you seen any of the White House correspondence dinners? The man missed a career as a stand up comedian.
Everyone seems to agree that these boats inadvertently drifted into Iranian waters.
I tried to confront somebody on this the other day, and his opinion was that Iran should have seen these soldiers in their waters and totally ignored them.
My wife had Fox News on last night when she went to bed. The woman and her two guests repeatedly talked about how embarrassing it was and how these soldiers were forced to do things they didn’t want to do and that it was basically an act of war.
Thankfully the Iranian Revolutionary Guards are far more peaceable and level headed than your average American police force.
As an OIF veteran, it enrages me when the arm chair admirals want to bomb every fucking thing that dares to cross our paths. Fortunately for pieces of shit likes these people, they don’t get phone calls every few months saying another friend has committed suicide because of their battles with PTS. Being the main…
What a bunch of horseshit! Seeing these overly-manicured idiots try to manufacture a crisis out of what is probably the most peacefully and quickly resolved event in the Gulf region in this century, really fills me with rage. We should send these cunts to fight ISIL on the ground, since apparently, they know all the…
Soooo.....Fox is basically criticizing the United States military and the federal government for handling an obvious mistake in a safe, responisible and adult manner. Works for me.
We solved this problem with diplomacy instead of chest thumping or a new war? What kind of bullshit is this?
