:( Is there some reason we're discussing this, I ask, nervously?

In the DOD we call these 'murder boards' and they ought to be used more often.
As researchers from San Francisco State University (perhaps unsurprisingly) discovered, buying things like books, video games, or musical instruments can still increase a person's happiness level because they weren't just buying a trinket. They were buying something they could use, something that would enrich their…
When I'm sick I will take chicken pho with Sriracha, the only time I can stand Sriracha.
It's nice and all but what I really would like to know, and what I really hope was considered, is — does it make the act of getting from ground transport to airplane, or transferring from airplane to airplane, easy? I was recently in Miami International and the mile long trek from the gate to passport control was more…
No. No we can't live in peace. No matter what we wish or hope or dream of, no we can't live in peace. The moment one person thinks it's his duty to his deity/God/imaginary sky friend to hurt anyone who doesn't worship as he does, we can't live in peace unless we surrender, continuously and afresh to everyone else. And…
Nice husband. Patience and care. :)
Very esteemed customer:
I seem to have the same problem, odd, isn't it?
I think I also remember that there are so few crashes "these days" that the air safety authorities have to use simulations to gather a sample size of accidents large enough to study.
I always change the minute I get home from work. In summer, I shower as well. But I take off everything when I get home. If I'm going out after work, I bring clothes to change into.
Underwear - after one wear.
I am so jealous of you. I have to change underwear twice a day or more. I am very clean there, just I don't like feeling unfresh.

I am okay inside something looking out (or I was until 9/11, now I'm a bit more nervous above say the tenth floor), but even a very high railing outside will make me go all Lizard_King lightheaded. I'm so terrified that I don't like seeing even other people near…
He's so gorgeous too.
Wow. Just...wow. So not very flexible for employers. Oh, and thank you!
I guess it's very important to negotiate those contracts well. If I may ask - how long are fixed-term contracts usually for? Do they ever include breaking mechanisms (family care obligations, etc.) and are there penalties for an employer if he terminates the contract early?
"No right to resign?" How does that work - you have to work there even against your will?
Must be a retro molded salad extravaganza!
If I'm doing the interviewing, and I don't by then know why I should (or shouldn't) hire a candidate, isn't my question going to waste everyone's time - the candidate's while he casts about for an answer, and mine for yet more data points that I've not managed to add up in such a way as to be useful? What I'd…
