Don’t they all? Don’t they always? The abusers always offer this as their last line od defense. The slavers, the genociders, the colonizers...you know, that the objects of their attention don’t know how good they had it. That if they’d have acted “right,” if they would have “behaved,” if they would have just…
Yep. I mean this is the same society where Chad and Karen alike still think the low-key racist and high-key misogynistic cry of “Shut the fuck up & be grateful folks aren’t doing (insert violent thing) to you like they did in (insert Asian or Middle Eastern country), little wh*res!” is an appropriate response to women…
What I’m hearing him say is that he “gave” women jobs when no one else would...and then imposed on them sexually while reminding them that he is owed, at the very least, sexual favors because he could easily terminate them at any moment. Can he just stfu already?
“My work has been forgotten.’’
If you are in a relationship and thinking of having kids; THAT’S THE TIME to screen for genetic markers. As a dating app; it’s just kind of unnecessary. Add to that his weird association to Epstein and it feels creepy.
“I didn’t even get the chance to use Epstein’s services. I was too busy basking in the smell of my own genius to even notice the lush tropical settings, the large number of scared young women, or that I was keeping company with a human trafficker! I’ve got important brain stuff to do!”
Everybody always has an excuse for why they were friends with or spent significant amounts of time with Epstien, although “we did our science nerd thing and left” in the context of a wealthy benefactor who wants an army of genetically perfect offspring isn’t as reassuring as you think, Church!
I think the book was a really thoughtful gift.
I love the tomatoes for the two year old! The kid loved them who cares about the relatives. The video game dude, uh yeah his wife needed to get him that gift, not you.
The giver was my father, not me, but this is still a great story.
There was a whole beach full of dicks not but 60 miles away from me two days ago and this is the first I’m hearing about it??!! Goddammit internet!
I can provide a little insight having worked in municipal budgeting. The steering wheel thing is inaccurate. The reason is money. Storage of high def video gets expensive really fast. Big files, storage for 30-90 days or forever, backup, etc. It has become cheaper but some towns still don’t have cameras because they…
I don’t think they’re concerned with them filming their steering wheels per se. Rather the issue if the body cam stayed on an ordinary cops shift would probably have several hours of footage of their steering wheel because they spend most 0of their time driving around.
I feel like it’s okay to get some steering wheel footage for the sake of accountability.
Right? Military and DOD civilians all get annual training on not doing this shit. The training is actually (Maybe surprisingly) quite good. This guy knew what he was doing want ok, he just didn’t care.
Dump immediately pardons him and insists he be reinstated as a Navy SEAL.
Those body cameras need to be modified so that if they’re ever turned off, the officer’s supervisors immediately get an alert. Why they should be allowed to be turned off by the officers wearing them is also completely beyond me.
The investigators took his comments under advisement, but wrote that his response “did not change our report and [they] stand by our conclusions.”
