Instead of the mall Santa, we see Santa and get photos from a local photographer. She charges a little more, but you get great pictures, a more personalized experience, and a reserved time slot. They’ve been doing this at The Grove Santa for years now, they had to the line was cockoo. Last year the Xmas tree lot we went to (near Pann’s) had a Santa and it was a 1/3 of the The Grove Santa. Kids were happy and mom got a deal, win win.

ANYTHING that lets you reserve a spot & not have to waste your time standing in line is a good thing. Movie tickets, airplane seats, restaurants, Santaland. Queueing is a direct hotline to misery.

It is two pieces of fabric. The thing we cannot find is the type of elastic that goes into the edge of the fabric to hold it onto the metal ring. It must be a very tiny industrial-type of elastic. We have tried other kinds unsuccessfully.
