Not so strange. Someone I know had an orange tabby he named Greg, short for Gregory House(cat). And now he has a shorthair tuxedo whose name is Lisa, short for Lisa Cudd(l)y.

Mama cat is gorgeous. Look at those eyes!
Someone over on my FB commented that it would be the perfect tribute to her legacy to finally get the ERA passed.
And not a thing of value was lost.
Your mother sounds a lot like my parents. While they both have been low-grade assholes for as long as I can remember, I didn’t recall them becoming as virulently nasty and hateful as they have since they started religiously watching Fox News. Practically every night there’s the obligatory marathon of Megyn Kelly/Sean…

Your poor dog. =(
My shitbag dad did this to me once during an argument when I was 19, and it was very scary how fast it escalated. Like, one minute we were just shouting at each other, then he had quickly crossed the room, pushed me against the wall behind me, and had his hands around my neck. I started screaming for him to let me go,…
Thank you for this suggestion! I may have to read this one.
