Mining Bitcoins? Doesn't take any work at all once set up. Probably won't net a profit running it 24/7 but if you run it in the background while you're on your computer can at least offset most of the cost of electricity.
When you're accelerating slower the throttle's closed more so your engine's doing more work just to suck air in. On the other hand, the quicker you accelerate the more your torque converter will slip, which is also not good (for efficiency).
As someone who's played Midtown Madness 2 way more than any one person should, I can confirm, excellent idea.
Manuals would be perfect for parking if they had a dogleg 1-2.
Yes, but the stopping distance is significantly reduced. As result the engine must continue maintaining speed by burning fuel for a great distance. This isn't a matter of burning fuel, it's a matter of conservation of energy.
Yeah, except for the fuel you're burning to maintain your speed. So you don't have "infinite MPG". You're still wasting energy in the process of slowing down, only difference is it's suction from the closed throttle slowing you down, not friction from the brakes. Further, let's say you go to neutral and coast to a…
I agree with #2, just keep your left foot hovering over the brake. You'll win on braking distance, just need enough room to account for RT.
It's always fun being the hero in summer when people don't know how their fans work.
Ew.
Does that have a transverse engine?
Has no one here heard of the "Implied Consent Law"?
I would think a CVT at each wheel would be nice. Keep the engine at maximum power for more time.
I would Google "Solid South" if I were you.
There is indeed something unsettling about seeing your tach stay still and the speedo increase. I have an F-150 that hunts gears, so low powered compact has nothing to do with it. I've learned exactly where to put the throttle so it can get the most power without downshifting, then inevitably upshifting a few moments…
I feel as though a written exam every 5 years when you renew and a driving test every 10 years would be fair.
Unless it was a static brake it would do nothing but grind.
I'd take a Cobalt over a Civic or Mazda3 any day.
