"if a man comes home and there's no dinner on the table, and his wife is on the phone, watching TV, or on the computer ignoring him, he won't feel respected."

This is a debate you and I and others can have as adult trans women. But this is not an adult. This is a child. I'm not about to hold some of the issues you've brought up against her for that reason.

No. No. No. No.

What really got me was "I need to be strong for the kids that I did this for and people I did this for." She's so young! No teenager should have to feel that kind of pressure on top of everything else.

She is 100% braver than any of the assclown jackholes who crawled out from under a pile of old underwear to post something anonymous and hateful. Fuck them in the face with a hatchet, sister.

Yeah, I remember family groups lining up to say how much they loved Carrie when it came out. It's never been banned in schools or anything.

ZOMG even the title.

This reminds me of this awful article some student at my university (white) wrote about her experience in Uganda. It's not totally related, but it's hilarious how oblivious some people are. http://www.dukechronicle.com/articles/2013/…

Err... hmmm... uhh...

Dude, don't "my dear" me as if I'm the asshole making the continuity decisions. I'm just passing along what Yvette Nicole Brown said in an interview, of her own experience, as a possible reason, AND I even indicated that this reasoning might not apply in this scenario. My hair is not kinky but it is very very curly,

I don't know if this is accurate in this particular case, but Yvette Nicole Brown, on Community, said that she almost always wears hairpieces and wigs on set, because curly hair doesn't curl *exactly* the same way on any given day, which can sometimes pose a problem for continuity purposes when contiguous scenes are

Here she is today. Happy, Healthy and resenting my mother.

No! Plus, there are SO many purebred chihuahuas in the shelters and in purebred rescue groups, you'll be easily be able to adopt a great one. (Happy early birthday!)

They can be pretty mellow. Although, when they get excited they like to run laps around the house. They're better in pairs or with a second dog. Basset Hounds are so cute and they lumber around with those ears swinging. They get dirty so you have to keep them clean, but they do have little bonnets to keep them off the

I'm white and southern. I'm not part of a sorority (neither was my mom who is also white, southern, and college-educated.) I don't regret it. I had friends who joined and they loved it, but I'm not doing any worse financially or career wise than any of those friends and I'm doing better than some . We used to call

The meanest thing I ever said was to two sorority girls signing up pledges for rush outside my dining hall. I politely said I wasn't interested, but they kept insisting, asking why I wouldn't just try it, telling me it was impossible to have a social life at the university if you weren't in the Greek system, etc.

Those white girls who are pissed should probably quit rather than comment anonymously.

maybe it's just sleeping... please god just let it be sleeping... BREATHE BABY BREATHE

I think this is aimed more at those who PROFIT on tragedy rather than those who buy into it in remembrance or grief. I am not offended by, say, a gift shop at the 9/11 memorial museum or something, but I think we need to stop and think "Who is making this and who is benefiting from this?"

Nope. This is the worst.
