Exactly. It's not that it matters what the woman is wearing, or more correctly, it's not that it should matter to anyone. But people are going to ask, because people are horrible.

We were in a family-friendly restaurant, around 6:30pm, and I was wearing a loose-fitting, long sleeve shirt, jeans, and no makeup...so I'm not sure where the confusion arose as to what kind of service you were being provided.

I have been waiting weeks for someone to use the monogrammed thermos reference. A+ and a million gold stars for you :)

Was it for chicken breast?

We have a lady who always asks for us to leave the chick peas off of her salad to which we reply we do not not have we ever put chick peas on our salads. Once you bring the salad out she will huff and puff and hold up the peppercini and exclaim she didn't want any chick peas. She's been told many times that it is not

Seriously. If you have a bowl of cereal for breakfast, a salad for lunch, and a grilled cheese sandwich and tomato soup for dinner, that's a vegetarian day, and all of that is 100% normal kid fare. See also: baked potatoes, spaghetti, chili and cornbread, pancakes/French toast/waffles and eggs (imagine the novelty of

When I first started waiting at the tender age of 17, I had an elderly gentleman who was eating out with his large family order a blue cheese burger, which came slathered with blue cheese dressing, but asked for the dressing on the side. I had the cooks put the dressing on the side and took it out with the rest of the

"Fishsticks" just got back from his fancy-schmanzy European trip selling monogrammed thermoses, confused to find that fish have bones and such.

Try selling that shit to West Indians.

I reeeeeeally don't get the disgust from people in response to an ingredient (meat) the meal *doesn't contain*. It makes no logical sense whatsoever, it's like if I said, "What?! This sandwich DOESN'T HAVE tomatoes on it? That's revolting!"

Right? I've asked my family to attend my vegan wedding dinner and the response is OH GOD HOW COULD WE SURVIVE ONE SINGLE MEAL OF OUR LIVES WITHOUT OUR PRECIOUS STEAK? I get it; eat whatever you want, I don't care. I'm not a preacher. But for christ's sake, it's one meal of your entire life.

Me too. I think it started in a child development class. I'm studying to be an elementary school teacher, so I don't know if this obsession is helpful or not.

Oh, yeah. She's what got got me started. And that beautiful little face. You look at it and hear a Hitchcock movie soundtrack shrieking in your head.

I loved The Devil in the White City too! Also, I recently spent an afternoon in Ted Bundy's old basement. I feel you.

I watch pretty much every true crime television show out there, read tons of true crime books (if you haven't read The Devil in the White City yet, you really should), have wanted to visit the Lizzie Bordon house for years, and have read the entirety of this encyclopedia. As I watched Snapped today, I was also struck

I know Wendy Davis SAID she had an abortion, but we're gonna need a man to verify that for us. Maybe two or three. Can we just get a couple of men to support this woman's stories about her own personal life? We just need a male perspective on this so we can really be sure it happened. Anyone?

I hate that she even justified that they were "medically necessary." I wish she could have just said "I had two abortions and I (along wiht my family - if that was the case) had to reach a decision that was tough." End.of.Story.

Only Mr. Siggins knows the truth about his alleged journalism credentials . We simply do not know the circumstances of Dustin Siggins's supposed credentials, education, or basic humanity.

"Horne noted that "it is extremely rare — if not non-existent — for a woman to have an abortion because the pregnancy posed a risk to her life."

This right here is why I really hate the mentality that I need to give a reason for or "excuse" my abortion. It's my business, and they can fuck off why. If you try to justify it all it does is give them grist for their mill. Just like anything else medical, "nunya business" is enough.
