Yup, I was going to post that this stuff has been around as a children’s toy since at least the 70s but the article treats it like the author just downloaded some yesterday.

I shut it off after 20 minutes of growing boredom. The signpost dialogue was written for children and this is a show devoid of surprises. And we get an anti-GMO heroine to boot. No thanks.
>>He released my phone number to his fans, along with my email address. I got three days of constant death threats. Every social media thing I was on, my email, and my phone.
I was at CNAnime in Toronto (sci-fi/anime/whatever convention before they became a thing) in 1999 and at some point in the afternoon on the Saturday I wandered into the celeb autograph room. Most of the tables were empty. I do remember spotting Nicole de Boer and and a few others and they had people 6-10 deep in front…
What a lovely afternoon for a drive...
No Battletoads, whose spamming got so bad that Gamestop held a national conference call to tell its stores to calm down? What about the rescue of Dusty the Cat, which easily eclipses that cranky old woman? No Copypastor? No Christian Singles Facebook hack, still the funniest thing I've ever seen on the internets? …
Williams is extraordinary at composing themes but quickly runs out of gas once he gets past that. Everything non-theme he's done all sounds the same.
I've always preferred the score for 3. Most of the scoring in 2 has always sounded lightweight and rushed to my ears. 3 takes the theme and ripens it, giving it much more substance. I've never owned a copy of 2's score; I've always had (and listened to) a copy of 3's in one form or another since I first borrowed…
While I'll instantly throw all of my chips in with the Star Trek: The Motion Picture pile started by Skot, I have to save one for Silvestri's The Abyss. People are quick to point to Predator and Back to the Future for its themes, but The Abyss is his best work imho.
Congratulations on mispelling a three-letter word. >.>
Pleaes enjoy this fantastic video essay about I Am Legend. :)
I was tempted to cite that one, but The Royale nudged it out. I've only seen Move Along Home once, when it first aired. I remember being horrified by the hopscotch chant. lol
I think we need to clarify how we define 'worst'. People mostly seem to be aiming for stupidest, but I think the most-boring episodes are the ones that should fall under the crosshairs first. An episode can be stupid and still entertaining; boring is unforgiveable, especially in a science fiction universe.
I think Nye was aiming more for a cautioning than for humour. Canseco is infamous for a legacy of ethical corruption in Major League Baseball. That doesn't deny his science literacy, but it strongly suggest that any commentary coming out of his mouth on scientific subjects would best be met with harsh skepticism.
> This video (which CBS/Paramount will probably not leave up too long)
There's a twist on the Independence Day aliens even before the virus silliness.
I'm guessing he wouldn't do it for two reasons.
I'm in Canadia and I use Hotspot Privacy Shield to watch Hulu and Comedy Central. It's free and it works. You do have to install software and it's notifications are obnoxious unless you switch them off, but hey - it's free and it works.
