I'm just surprised you mentioned Dragonball, One Piece and Naruto but singled out One Piece when it actually has some merit whereas Naruto has degraded to absolute crap.

One Piece still has interesting stories, dynamic characters and more importantly to its popularity in Japan, is funny. It's kind of like how Disney movies or cartoons are viewed here i.e. family friendly entertainment.
