Not that Mako isn't an ass throughout the series, but I don't think it's really fair to call him worse than Zuko, who for a large part of the series, had no qualms about hurting and killing people for selfish reasons. Yes, his character arc ultimately resulted in him becoming good, but Mako hasn't had that chance yet,

I was going to defend the GoT bit, but it seems that although individual moments are highlighted in the description, it's preceded by the episode title that moment occurs in. To say "All of it." where in the other cases the episode titles are listed really seems to indicate they mean all of GoT is bad. It's more

There is a reason it looks like older TARDIS designs. It's the 50th anniversary. I wouldn't expect this to be around for too long.

He was behind the best of AC, so I'm excited. I hope it's a 3rd person platformer set in 1666 Amsterdam.

You must be a new fan. This very closely resembles the TARDIS from Doctors 1-7 and that's only a good thing.

I do believe that didn't literally mean the ring tricked him sentiently but just that he did not have it when he should have. The full quote is " Whether it was an accident, or a last trick of the ring before it took a new master, it was not on his finger."

You're right about the hawks (I just rechecked) but I couldn't find the ring betraying him part, mind reminding me? As everything else I mentioned was still essentially the same as the book, I'm going to stand by "pretty accurate".

Most of those are really minor differences which do not have a great effect, if any, on the larger plot. Nevertheless, aside from jumping in to help Thorin, Biblo was equally as reluctant to act in the book as he was in the movie; Bilbo saw the ring fall from Gollum's pocket and in keeping it, he is still a thief; I

How so?

I'm just surprised you mentioned Dragonball, One Piece and Naruto but singled out One Piece when it actually has some merit whereas Naruto has degraded to absolute crap.

One Piece still has interesting stories, dynamic characters and more importantly to its popularity in Japan, is funny. It's kind of like how Disney movies or cartoons are viewed here i.e. family friendly entertainment.

These look deliciously adorable.

Well, that's just plain wrong. As far as adaptations go, this was pretty accurate. The only added scenes seem to be the White Council, Pale Orc and Radagast bits.

I will do what you said about noble lives, except the opposite.

They do not have to call it outright terrible when they're grading the movie 4/10, C-, 2/5 etc. and a huge number of critics have. http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/the_hobbit_an_unexpected_journey/reviews/?sort=rotten

Right, but Canada didn't have 9 shootings in the last 10 years as you said. If you were to look at the last decade or even the last two, Canada has a lot fewer shootings and a death toll of, as I said, only 3. To think that is proportionate with the US number in the hundreds is absurd. Population density and poverty

Terrible argument as there were only 4 in the past decade with a combined death toll of 3. Not even close to being comparable to US's school shootings of closer to 150 over the past 10 years.

Ugh can't begin to describe how terrible of a review this is. Let me preface this by saying that I realize this is partly meant to be comedic, but seeing as you still call it a terrible film, your reasons are worth considering.

There are terrible movie reviews, and then there's that, in a class of its own suckage.

From the director who made it: "see it in 48fps"
