Not to generalize, but I’m sure most women who marry old sacks of crap like Trump are eventually hoping to be wealthy widows. Becoming First Lady must be the worst possible outcome for Melania.

Here we have a woman delivering a poised and eloquent speech about the importance of protecting our children a week after losing the presidency and meanwhile the necrotic ballsack stuffed with radioactive waste we call a president-elect is putting Nazis in his cabinet and filling his weekly quota of empty legal…

She’s been put through the ringer for 30 years. She deserved better from her country. I’m still with her.

Say what you want about her but she is graceful yet tough as shit and a fighter. If only she had won... Instead we got a guy who can’t find his asshole with two hands and a flashlight.

She is amazing. I can’t believe so many Americans chose that giant exploded can of cheez wiz over her.

I thought I was approaching the point of not crying every day about the election results.. nope.

Yeah, I was working with a senior who turns 18 in the spring who was sad she’s couldn’t vote and would have to wait 4yrs - and I was like “MIDTERM ELECTIONS VOTE IN EVERYTHING NOT JUST PRESIDENTIAL ELECTIONS” 

Most of the country knew this would happen. Anyone who ever left the cities and realized how different that world is knows. Have you ever lived in a small town? Seriously, take a year and go live in some tiny town if you want to understand the country, be aware it is terrible in every way.

You’re not wrong. The one single thing that makes Pence slightly more palatable to me is that we could reverse draconian legislation someday.

Problem is if he steps down or is forced out, we’re left with President Pence and that’s almost as terrifying.

I greatly appreciate anyone right now who reiterates how NOT NORMAL this is and has been. Anyone who treats this as a “you win some, you lose some, lets work together now” election can shut the hell up. The fact that this happened means we know nothing- and anything can happen.
