Thanks for the update. I actually think I’ve emailed Kotaku a couple times about this one. It’s extremely disheartening, I love his music for the Elder Scrolls series. I’m not really sure what the deal is, but I hope Bethesda reconsiders using him for any future games. He can barely even communicate with his fans.

I do agree with the feathers. It’s one of the reasons I stopped playing so much recently. It’s just way too tedious, and there’s not even really a way around it.

Honestly, after seeing how orbs were used in Fire Emblem Heroes, I’m not too worried. I sunk a lot of time into FEH, and while I made the occasional orb purchase, Nintendo was very generous with free orbs, there were ample ways to earn them in game, and the game was still playable without purchasing them.

I adamantly insist that Secret of Mana is very worth playing all the way through along with those other titles.

I love DragonCon immensely, have been going for the last 6 years. It just so happens to fall on the same weekend as PAX almost every year so gets a little less love at times, but gaming has really taken off there. Smash tournaments every year, tons of gaming cosplay and panels...hopefully it gets more game coverage in

I hope I get some Walmart swag for my two canceled SNES Classics.

I mean, it’s named after the city.

SSE was amazing, and I missed it in the Wii U release.

Is Salt and Sanctuary worth it? I’ve seen a lot of people describe it as a 2-D Dark Souls.

To be fair, it took several deaths before I got the timing/distance of the laser parry down. Still mess it up a bit from time to time, and in certain situations (like being swarmed by other enemies), I just high tail it out of there. But it is effective.

Directly after I successfully defended my thesis, I went right over to Best Buy and purchased Bloodborne. Most satisfying few weeks of gaming I ever had, having that thesis burden off my plate and a great game to take its place.

I think it also applies to if you get it within a week or so after release.

I work in public health research and part of my job is tracking analytics concerning what devices people used to access our webpage, what they engage with, etc. In our monthly report, we have about 20-30 people (out of 200-300 thousand unique hits) that access our webpage from a PS4, Xbox 1, PS3, or Xbox 360. We get

Went to Scotland for my honeymoon last year and spent a week on Skye, largely in Portree, but we did a lot of exploring. Nothing quite like hiking up Storr, or walking around the Fairy Pools (the picture I attached, my favorite one that I took on the whole trip, on an iPhone 6), or just enjoying the wonderfully scenic

I liked La La Land. I thought it was a gorgeous movie with a catchy soundtrack. I’m not sure I understand this backlash. It was a well made film.

Used to be a huge FF fan, really fell off with XIII. VI - IX and Tactics are amongst my favorite games ever though, and I have a soft spot for XII as well.

Someday I’d love more Bloodborne. It’s probably in my top 10 favorite games ever made. It’s what led me into the Dark Souls series in the first place, but Bloodborne still remains at the top for me. Really scratched a gaming itch I didn’t know I had.

Why does the headline call this a threesome? This is rape. Threesome implies consent.

I love the Rayman run games too, but this seems pretty in depth with a lot of variety. Also, no microtransactions, which sounds great.

I mean, I love the series immensely. It has a “timeline.” It’s not a completely coherent timeline (even with the official publication), but I enjoy debating about it and what certain elements mean in regards to the chronology of the series. Just a fun little diversion to dwell on.
