I love StreetPass. I'll be at DragonCon this weekend, and I usually get a few hundred at the convention. A surprising amount of people with 3DS' do not use it at all, mainly because they just never bothered. It's a shame since it's such a neat little social tool.

Well...I'm all over this. I knew I wanted a Wii U eventually, and this is as good a reason as any. I'm officially excited.

..huh. Interesting. A low budget 3DS without the 3D. I think 3DS sells fairly well, but I guess it doesn't hurt to try to reach a wider audience. I wonder how much they could shave off the price with a "2DS" that looked identical to a 3DS XL.

This did not strike me as a review, merely an impression of the hardware.

So many fantastic developers.

I recall reading that the "front facing camera" thing is simply to determine which iPad/iPhone camera that you are on. It's the easiest way for an iOS game to determine if your phone or tablet will be able to pull off running the game with few issues, since older iPads and iPhones (the ones without cameras) probably

Chrono Cross...one of my favorite JRPGs ever. I actually replayed it again a year or so ago, and it's still just really good. The story gets a bit insane at times, but it's still pretty damn engaging. And yes, the soundtrack is incredible. Listening to it now at work!

I'm confused...it's a new gameplay mechanism used to expand an already beloved Zelda world. It looks like it has a lot of potential, and can add depth to the gameplay. I guess I don't see what's wrong with it.

I also think Square Enix as a company is out of touch with what their fanbase wants. Why isn't there a proper sequel to Chrono Trigger and Chrono Cross? Why haven't the Mana games been properly expanded upon? What happened to Saga Frontier? Heck, why haven't we gotten true updates of FF6 and 7, which would essentially

I do most of my portable gaming on 3DS/DS...but Infinity Blade 1 and 2 really hooked me. I remember sneaking rounds of Infinity Blade 1 while visiting a relative's house for the winter holidays in 2010. IB2 I only played picked up on a sale 6 months ago or so, but for a solid month it was pretty much the only game I

This is pretty much the story of most early 3D games. In trying to look realistic on the PS1/N64, many games just don't hold up these days. Games that use sprites, or cel-shading, or what have you, will hold up because there's a certain timeless quality. They're not trying to look real, whereas FF7 was. Chrono Trigger

Spent many nights in college jumping between this game and Smash Brothers Melee. I mastered Taki, she was my favorite, followed by Kilik.

I felt the Cube controller was the best controller for this game.

Turnips really can make you rich. I have a group of friends and we report our turnip prices morning and evening in case someone's town is buying at an obscene price. That may sound weird, but I actually find it pretty fun.

I'm at 70 hours and still not near unlocking everything despite doing a good bit of Beetle farming myself. There are so many things I want to do to my house and the town, and still quite a few fish and bugs I have yet to catch. I also look forward to the holidays and tournaments, as well as playing with friend's. I

Definitely. I loved Jordan's WoT, but the books were lagging a bit. Sanderson breathed a ton of life into them and made them page turners again like the first 5 or 6 books were for me.

Just finished Way of Kings last week and was completely blown away. I think I read the last 200 pages in one sitting.

Dishonored and the new Tomb Raider work seamlessly with the 360 PC controller. Skyrim worked great, but that may be too open ended for what you're looking for. Bastion works wonderfully as well if you're into action RPGs.

Put in a hundred hours on FO3 on PC for Windows 7 with maybe two crashes. I like the story of New Vegas more, but FO3 has the better environments. I love running through a ruined Washington DC, lots of iconic buildings to plunder.

Thanks! I must've missed that. Definitely going to pick this up.
