Something really rubs me the wrong way about the fact that they needed this money basically just to stay afloat. He has almost 350,000 donated to the game and he seems a bit...unappreciative? Ungrateful? I guess it's not what he was expecting, but I don't know, just leaves kind of a sour taste in my mouth.

Out of sheer curiosity, why hate it? I have my own issues with Kickstarter, but what do you think?

Can't wait. Amazon says my copy is getting here on Tuesday.

I want this, but I'll probably just wait for the first patch.

I thought you presented an analogy completely different than what was presented in the article. This isn't an OS, these are already purchased games. I'm fairly certain I'll be able to transfer all my PS3 downloads to a PS4, as well as the save data. Nintendo shouldn't be nickel and diming me over purchases I've

I take back everything negative I just said about the Wii U. Well, not really, but this game makes the Wii U a "must purchase" for me. Holy crap I'm excited.

Oh hey, I got a new PC a few months ago and guess what? I could play all my Steam games that I bought on my old PC without paying anything new. Novel idea, right?

How is this not part of Wii U already? I have a Wii but just thought all of my VC purchases would transfer over once I got a Wii U. And...special pricing? Really? How about: I bought the cartridge with the original system, the GBA version, and the VC version and don't really want to pay for it again?

Picking my copy up later this week (after I get paid). Can't wait. I think this will scratch the JRPG itch I've had for a while now.

Well, we got Ocarina of Time 3D. Super Mario 3D Land. Paper Mario Sticker Star. We've got Fire Emblem out in mere weeks.

That's why I've been in support of more studies like this. As a third year graduate student, I've seen people doing studies to disprove a link between two variables as much as prove them.

Exactly. I don't think Obama has ever said guns were the only problem, or violent media was the only problem. This is just one step on a laundry list of stuff that he is trying to get done here.

Look, I will probably get all sorts of crap over this, but I do not think it's a bad idea to explore how media influences audiences. I don't think violent games make people shoot up places by any means, but to say that media exists in a psychological vacuum is a bit silly. It's important to understand how media might

Um...I actually think this looks really cool/interesting. I may be getting this.

I'm really glad this is getting publicity now. I was quite angry when the game lost two of my saves on PC. I don't have as much gaming time as I used to, having to go back to complete everything again was ridiculous. I ended up completing it on PS3 since the PC version is just broken.

Why is playing games on an iPad an issue? I've been playing iPhone and iPad games for a couple years now and have not lost a save on any game yet.

Nope, gonna go with the game. The save issue is seen on PC too, and I recall a few people on 360 saying they also experienced it.

Played on PC, downloaded on Steam, the game lost my save file twice. I think the PC version was actually the buggiest platform. I beat it on PS3 with no issue.

I just think the whole issue is ridiculous in the first place. I am even more surprised that Telltale has done absolutely nothing about it.

Sorry that you had to experience all of this, but I feel you since I was in the same boat. If you have a 360 or PS3, the best solution is to try to find a friend who has the disc version to play through it. I'm going to be honest, I'm not sure why more gamers aren't frothing at the mouth about this game. I sent an
