The average cruising airspeed velocity of an unladen European Swallow is roughly 11 meters per second, or 24 miles an hour.

Ford GT40 taillights were from 1960 Chevy Corvairs.

I've never driven any of Alex Trebek's cars.

Did you know this thread was doomed from the start?

The true link between lesbians and Subarus:

Did you know you can save 15% in 15 minutes by switching to Geico?

doh - confused the two rides.

What ever the hell this thing is.

I believe that's a Ner-a-Car. They were trying to make it "Near a car" to operate.

The Megola. Not just a motorcycle with a radial engine, but a radial engine housed within the front wheel. I saw this motorcycle on display way back in the day in the Guggenheim Art of the Motorcycle exhibit and it was probably the strangest design/implementation that I've ever seen.

Or the Bohmerland-Cechie 4-seater:

The Schilovski Gyrocar (1913) is pretty damn weird:

Actually there are still horses serving in the Army. I have a friend that received a request to join them.

US Special Forces used horses in Afghanistan, as I recall. Much better on the mountainous terrain than any wheeled vehicle.

The Liberty Ship. The US built 2700 or so in 18 different shipyards, and by the end of the war, one could be built in 42 days.

One of the first ship designs to use all-welded construction; they were mostly built by women.

Come on, this car will cost more in repairs than its current selling price.

Yeah, that's stage 2 in the escalating sketchiness. Parked by the side of the road with hazards off...okay maybe it's an electrical problem. Carrying cones...a little weird, but you can rationalize it. Blocking both traffic lanes with said cones, you've crossed the Nopeville city limits.

If only he had the STI short shift kit in his BRZ. He would have been able to get out of there much faster.

I feel like "New Jersey Roadblock" should be the name of some horrifying sex act .
