Definitely sounds like a V8, but it sounds kind of off, like it might have cross-over exhaust (GT40 bundle of snakes style)? I also know some rumors talked about it being turbocharged, but I figured I’d at least hear a hint of turbo whistle whenever it took off from a stop.

That unnecessary slow-mo that masked the sound of flyby literally ruined the whole video.

Except the WT isn’t a base model any more. The WT Colorado and XL Ranger are not even remotely comparable. The WT comes with a 7" color touch screen, bluetooth + apple car play/android auto, 6 speaker sound system, front driver power seats, carpeted floors, power locking tailgate, etc...

The Ranger XL has 3.5"

The pricing on this thing is obscene. The Colorado starts $5,000 cheaper...

I’m sorry but those numbers are absolutely abysmal. It would make no sense to buy this over the gasoline version. At least a $1000-1500 higher initial cost, higher fuel costs and higher maintenance costs.

The high compression ratio that gives diesels their efficiency, is what makes them emit lots of NOx. Mazda dropped

It sounds like a lawnmower, because that car clearly has been converted to a small single cylinder engine. Probably out of a little ATV.

There is no way that PanAm is anywhere near 500 pounds.

Basically the camshaft profiles will have so much valve overlap, that the effective compression ratio will be far lower.

It weighs as much as an S2000 with 40HP less. Plenty of vehicles receive major engine updates “mid-cycle” .

Can anyone explain to me why there is an LS “F-Sport”? My experience with the Lexus LS is limited to the first and second gen LS400s, which were awesome luxury cars that could devour miles of highway in perfect isolation.

Is anyone else really disappointed by these recent revelations about how little Toyota actually seems to be in this “Supra”. Part of what made the Supra so legendary was Toyota’s rock solid build quality. The car was built like a tank (and yeah, it’s weight indicated as such), handled reasonably well, and was

One minor correction: The Indian is liquid cooled.

Not even going to mention the factory divorced transfercase?

Lane assist once again is not the same thing as autopilot.

Adaptive cruise control keeps a set following distance, but doesn’t take control of the wheel. You still have to actively steer the car with adaptive cruise control.

This is why I don’t understand Autopilot. If it “requires” you to be 100% attentive, hands on the wheel, foot at the ready to smash the brake - then what is the freaking point at all? It’s completely and utterly hopeless and useless.

Then you have the branding - “Autopilot”. Tesla supporters will tell you that real

What exactly is your point? GM had 180HP NA out of their 4 cylinder back in the early 90s. Honda only gets 278HP out of their 3.5L V6.

...and the other thing, since it’s MAF-based fuel injection, choking the engine really won’t do anything. The computer will see less air flow, and just inject less fuel to match.

All 4.0 Explorers use mass-air fuel injection. The MAF is over at the air box. If you had the intake boot off to spray starting fluid into the engine, the engine will not keep running, since as far as the computer is concerned, there is no air going into the motor.

You “choking” the motor likely just let it run long
