And then you deal with failing lifters that destroy camshafts.

*3200, can’t edit my posts for some reason.
Looks like FCA has figured out how to lighten their vehicles now. I think the Dart’s curb weight was like 32pp
Awesome, so now after a long drive my phone will have lost 40% of its charge since it’s doing all the grunt work of running the infotainment.
Kinja wouldn’t let me edit my post to show the Tesla at it’s “torque peak” is was only 4,700 lb-ft at the wheels.
The difference between 14,200 and 14,600 is minimal.
I hate these “look at all the torque a Tesla makes on a dyno!” posts, because they’re so misleading - mainly because the Dyno operators that post them don’t really understand what they’re doing.
...but we know how to tunnel...
A LandCruiser is literally the only option. If you shop around, reasonably priced ones will show up.
Putting an automatic in reverse at speed isn’t that big of deal. On an older transmission without safety lockouts, this is what happens:
1. No it wasn’t. I can screen-grab the video and clearly see the spokes at any point - even when it was spinning. If he had truly mashed down on the throttle, you wouldn’t be able to make out the spokes.
The wheel is not spinng that fast at all. It’s a metal wrap that was likely wet. It might as well be glass.
He was hardly giving it any throttle. It takes a lot of throttle to get a car up a steep ramp like that.
Clutch modulation was fine
There are plenty of other cars without grilles that do it far more elegantly.
I hope they fixed that horrible front fascia. Their desire to make it a point that the car doesn’t need a grille ruined the design.
That’s a Durango interior though...
Tip: Get some good lighting in your garage. It makes a huge difference in how much you enjoy working. It looks like a dungeon in there. I like to work in about ~1300 lux worth of lighting, which is 2-3x brighter than your average office work environment.
What a huge storage facility. Looks like an abandoned walmart or something.
