I don't think Destiny will feel next gen gameplay wise. It's essentially Borderlands meets Halo for the most part. Looks good but nothing particularly new.

We wont see anything next gen gameplay wise for a while. With new consoles it tends to be a graphics push for a year or so before you start seeing gameplay that

I find it extremely hard to watch these PR guys play games. It feels so cheesy

Does anybody mind pointing out what the hype for this game was again ?

My favorite part:

I like everything about this post.

It took several years for the Ps2's era to end after the PS3 was released. Near the end of that, games like Guitar Hero 3 looked (and played, dat input lag, dose loading screens) like absolute shit on the PS2 but beautiful on the current gen systems, showing how much of a divide there

Yeah, what's keeping me from making the full jump to PC gaming is the fact that I know console games will be getting better and better 5 years from now, while I'm going to have to keep upgrading my PC every 2-3 years to get the optimal experience.

I'm just waiting, see I got this crystal ball, known as "I remember the last two console generation" which let me predict that this was going to happen. If I had more money at this time I would have brought it just to give the next an help in starting, but it's doing just fine, now we wait for a year before we start

From the article

I believe DICE is doing Battlefront and Visceral is doing something else.

This could be interesting as long as it's not a tie in with the new movie.

This happens with every game. Proper screenplays can take years to develop, and movies have a lot less dialogue than games. Plus you have to factor in time for mocap and giving the animators enough time to make everything look right.

This is a streaming box. Games are a side note. Better comparison would be Roku, which worked out pretty damn well.

Or it's only going to be streamed with Playstation Now. It'll run on PS3 servers, but playable streamed on PS4.

It's gonna be Jason Todd.

Dax: There are only two things I can say about the character you just saw. Number one: his name is the Arkham Knight. Number two: he is a completely original character that we have designed at Rocksteady in collaboration with DC Comics. That's it.

They probably balk because they call it PC Master Race, and not this thing called "PC Gaming".

I know this is an extreme example, but shit like this is why most console gamers balk at joining the PC Master Race. I could buy all three next-gen consoles and a new 60 inch 3D TV for the price of this single video card. Jesus Christ.

And I agree with you. I am a core gamer, and I will get a Morpheus, but it will be just like my 3D tv, I will use it on occasion for certain games designed for it, not something I use for every game every time.

A virtual tourism type game would be interesting. Walking with dinosaurs, exploring alien worlds, etc.
