I completely agree with you on your second point. Though I'm not sure that's going to be as detrimental to intial sales or it selling well, not something that is generally realized until it's widely adopted.

Go watch the video of the 80+ year old Grandma of an Occulus Rift Dev. having the most joyus experience ever seen when trying it for the first time, and then get back to me on your prediction about non core gamers reaction to this technology.

This whole VR thing is the next motion control fad. Let's be honest the majority of gamers aren't going to want to sit in a room with a screen directly in front of their face and a lot of games may not even bother supporting it. As cool as the idea is it will most likely end up as an enthusiasts only product.

So Watch Dogs is out, done, optimized and on store shelves?

It's Ubisoft. Their development teasers are bullshot-city.

Nope. I won't believe shit from these assholes. Remember Watch Dogs?

I'm really excited for The Division, but I'm also going to be a realist. Ubisoft already deceived us with Watch Dogs, so I'm going to believe Division is really like this when I can actually see or play it.

Oh, Ubisoft...when will you learn that I will not fall for your government grade PC running your previews? I'm looking at you Watch_Dogs...

The Oculus R.I.P.

Broject Whoa

Project Ripusoff :)

Internet, please. Time Warner Cable. Make it so.

Oh golly, maybe this year gamers will grow up a little bit and realize that the imagined wrongdoings of a company that makes video games aren't even remotely in the same league as the actual 'bad companies' out there.

Or maybe they'll continue to do exactly what they've always done and be loud-mouthed children because

What a demo.

This is more like how consoles used to launch.. Wasn't always all countries at once or the first few months of release.. It used to be around a year for a console to have its full launch.

Interesting, I figured Xbox Live would be too homophobic of a place for them to release their game on.

Yup, size isn't everything! ;)

So glad I never got into MGS. The impression I've always had is that it's obtuse just for the sake of it, and this just confirms that. Solidus Snake? I could have come up with better on the spot when I was 7 playing "goodies and baddies" with my little friends. It seems to think itself rather clever, but it's just
