Quick question: Will this be called the PS4 or will it have some subtitled name like the Vita, something like Playstation:Beyond?

I think we'll get a look at the new console, some talk about the specs, a vague mention of it being released this holiday season...and that's it. Price, specific release date, actual in game trailers, the controller, all of that will be at E3.

How many more times is Crytech going to try and convince us that that their beauty queen is also a rocket scientist? It should be known to everybody at this point that these guys can't get by just on looks alone.

Seriously, I can't think of the last time I've seen so many articles on so many sites that don't tell the readers jack shit about what the game is actually going to be like.

Eh, despite what Bungie says I'm going to keep thinking of Destiny as a MMO until I see some real proof that proves otherwise.

"If you look at what sells, it's tough to justify something like that." Isn't this the same excuse that been trotted out with every other medium since the dawn of time?

I'm fine with it being mostly used for UI navigation. For me that's all it needs to do. Using a traditional controller is unwieldy and awkward. Through in a touch screen and boom! Problem solved.

I knew it!

My question is, why did they outsource it in the first place?

I don't get it. The final gameplay footage looks better to me. Polygon did the same comparison with still shots and I felt the same way. The demo looks darker and less detailed. Is that what people wanted?

So Valve releases several employees but not Episode 3? Huh. How about that?

EGM's review is the equivalent of that old woman's review of The Olive Garden. Love it!

Son of a batch? I don't remember that one.

They're thinking, "should we release our game on two consoles that have a huuuuuge install base or two new consoles with zero install base? Let's go with the first one."

I gotta say you raise some good points. I especially like your "less is more" suggestion and the idea of making the xenos harder to kill. Hopefully some developer will figure out a way to nail this series in the future. Too bad it wasn't Gearbox.

I see what you mean about the differing attach patterns but at the end of the day aren't they all just melee attacking you?

I can't say I've read that many previews, but any time Colonial Marines would come up on the podcasts I listen to the person talking about it almost always sounded very skeptical that Gearbox was going to deliver a quality game.

Is it even possible to make a good Aliens game now days? When it comes right down to it from a gameplay perspective, the xenomorphs are simply generic. They all look the same, and their style of attack is pretty boring, i.e. running at you and swatting you to death. It's inevitable that this would get stale pretty

"Or BL just has enough cheesemazing to make us feel like we are having fun..."

Can't wait until five years from now, when people point to this interview and say "wow, this game's been in development for five years."
