Feels too soon to me too. Now if it turns out to be a next gen launch game and actually looks/feels like a next gen title and not just a port then I'd be a little more excited.

Can't say I'm surprised by this. The Aliens series has been milked dry by the games industry for the better part of a decade. It was bound to be boring. It's like Stranglehold all over again. No amount of PR saying, "no, no, no WE were doing this first" is going to make up for the games shortfalls.
Can't wait for Kinect 2.0 to see I'm giving it two thumbs down.
Once again another hilarious installment of Clueless Gamer. Can't get enough of these.
Seriously. They're like the supermodels of the video game world, all surface, no substance.

Eh, I loved the Mass Effect series, crappy ending and all, but it's waaaaay too early for me to get excited about another game in the franchise.

Couldn't agree more. I'll be shocked if Sony doesn't start charging for its online multiplayer.
Same here. Though that's whats got me so intrigued. What could Sony and Microsoft's new consoles possibly do that the current ones don't? I'm hoping to be surprised but expecting little more a bump in graphics and horsepower and some more none gaming services, e.g. "hey look Spotify and Instagram are on my consoles…
After suffering from shooter fatigue I cancelled my Xbox Live subscription too and haven't missed it for a second. Plus it helps that I also own a PS3.
But are you really saving money if lower priced games encourage you to buy more games then you normally would have if they were only available for full price? Hope that doesn't come across as snarky. If genuinely interested.
I sorta like all the speculation before new hardware is announced. There's an air of "anything could happen" even though I know it's not really true. In the end it's more fun to let my imagination run wild before I'm brought back down to earth with the reveal of ho-hum launch titles and an exorbitant price point.
