Sadly, I felt she was indeed the weak point of the hour. (Funny, she looked familiar but I couldn't place her as Marian from "Robin Hood" until I read this.) I'm glad we're going to get a new gal, and our glimpse of her in the middle of crazy-time seemed promising. ;-)

I resisted cellphones for years because I didn't want to be available all the time — or have people expect me to be. Similarly resisted smartphones. And I still refuse to play along. There's still this thing called voicemail.

That's funny. I didn't even think of it as a product-placement kinda' thing but more like "Candyman," something based on ubiquitous urban legends. All the junk people have been saying about Ouija boards all these years turned into a movie. Funny that I had to be reminded that Ouija boards are something you buy.

They've been wanting a spin-off too. How much fun would a Cas vs. Crowley spin-off be?

I thought only the high-level dudes could do it. And Dean seems to me like something other than a demon despite the fact that people keep calling him that. For one thing, he's not possessing someone's body. For another, the Mark of Cain thing. I dunno, but seems like he's got his own rules.

Ugh! Yuck. I didn't so much mean that dogs aren't a problem so much as that cats are too, so don't put the blame all on dogs and their owners. Again, most owners don't let their dogs wander unsupervised around the neighborhood. And I'm pretty sure that if I suggested to a cat owner that maybe he/she could go

Honestly, Dean sitting in the back of that car last night was hands-down the scariest thing I've ever seen on "Supernatural." Jensen Ackles does evil almost too well. Compared to Jared P's soulless Sam a while back, well... utterly terrifying... I actually felt a knot in my stomach watching it.

And their owners don't have to clean it up. As a certain psychotic bounty hunter once said, "Does that seem right to you?"

Y'know what? I think when I went there it was right about the same time! Who knew?

Yeah I was thinking that myself... Parthenogesis could've been done in a slightly more realistic manner, if the "no man" part was most important. But as it is she's going to be thousands of years old?!?

There's even talk among some geologists up thisaway that the process may have been repeated one or more times during successive ice ages. BTW, it's "The Dalles" in Oregon, not "The Dells." :-)

I'd kinda' like that ceiling thing. I can't ever find a comfy position to read in bed at night... ;-)

I only watched it cuz others in my house wanted to. I didn't have high hopes. Even after the pilot, I was like "meh." But I soon became a convert, too!

I can't believe anyone has enough free time to "hate watch" something on TV. I can't even keep up with the stuff i actually WANT to see!

One of the main impressions I got on my first trip to Paris was the insane amount of dog poo everywhere... Egad, it was horrible! City folk here aren't near as bad about it as they are over there! And of course, the French bring their dogs into restaurants they wouldn't take kids into... ;-)

We pick up our dog's poop in our yard regularly, and we don't let him go on anyone else's — though he does in the woods on a hike occasionally, and always off the trail. Seeing as how I'm dodging bear/deer/coyote poop every few yards on these walks, I'm honestly not worrying about my very healthy dog's

I don't want to go outside and take pictures for you, but in my neighborhood at least, Team Cat isn't doing its job. I can't grow root crops in my garden because any freshly turned earth is considered a perfect litterbox in the minds of the dozens of feral cats and cuddly pets that wander our streets at their

In my day job, I'm senior editor for a technical trade magazine serving the biotech industry. I've been a professional editor for nearly 20 years, in fact. Sometimes I can't help correcting something if it jumps out at me. But I also know that there are two types of editors in the world: sticklers and stylists. I

It's not a tumor?!?

I think you mean "reigning theory."
