Er... Why he has a point? Because he's the freakin' author!!! and without him there would be no freakin' Shining... Grr.

That was damn good. Very claustrophobic and creepy. Loved it.

LOL. Maybe not. They could send you a lot farther back. And yes, emotionally devastating. But survivable. My brother just lost his wife, the love of his life, to cancer. And living on without her is going to be horrible. But he's alive. I nearly lost the love of my life to cancer in my 20s, and it was the

I'm still reeling from the first atom imagery — which happened when I was in high school. This is just mind-boggling.

Yeah I could definitely stand to see more of that story...

I must respectfully disagree, though I loved me some Oz. The Willow/Tara romance proceeded just right, to me. She was sweet and lovely and even less self-confident than Willow — which allowed Willow to blossom in her presence and vice versa. It was freakin Kennedy who made no dang sense at all...

Seriously, though, if you'd been spoiled by having Jason Momoa as a hubby, someone else would have to be mighty striking to get your attention later on... And this fella was really pretty — not to mention enjoyably snarky. It will be weird to see another guy walking around with his name, though. :-\

Agreed. Totally. How could anyone go from Tara's sweetness to this obnoxious self-righteous woman-child?!?

I kinda' liked the psychic who was blinded. And Amber Benson's vampire. And the teenage daughter of a hunter... Aw, come on. They have some good female characters! Yes, I'm mostly there for the boys, but I'm not really offended by any of the ladies that come along...

Jesse really does have his moments, believe me.. At first, I thought the same thing as y'all. But he grew on me. I stuck with it all the way through to the mostly satisfying ending.

When I look back at her episodes, I really kinda' like her no-BS attitude and mispronouncing Data's name. She was fun. I also like Bev, who could be ridiculously girly at times but made up for everything with "Well, either I'm crazy or the entire Universe is going wonky. Think I'll go with Choice B." (yes, I'm

I gotta' say, if you're so far removed from being sucked in by the story that you're counting lens flares, they are not really the problem. I have never noticed them as being a problem in his stuff, myself. But maybe I was paying attention to something else. Like the actors?

They never really scared me all that much. Even in Blink, which was a lovely story. So... if they catch you, they move you to someplace else in time, and then you live an ordinary life until you die of old age. Um. Yeah, I'd totally miss my family and friends, but it's not, y'know... The Silence. Which as far

All gorgeous. Some potentially doable. But now I have a tummyache.

Ah well... Big fan of that place, myself, and glad to have visited. I did not find ESL to be as terrifying as people always say it is, however. ;-)

Well... I did like the overall theme... And the lion. And freakin Tom Petty as HIMSELF! :-)

Nice to hear someone from ESL chime in... A little tired of the usual bashing that comes as a knee-jerk reaction to the mention of that place.

Been there. Monk's Mound is a hell of a climb, believe me (puff, pant). Thanx for the update; I don't think any of this was yet being talked about when I visited.
