Because of social media, the answers to the big reveals get out immediately. They’re on the internet. They’re unavoidable. Even the spoiler-free reviews that I read were like “And then, they do something that’s going to make fans very, very, very angry.” That’s not really a spoiler-free review.

Fair, but those stories are from 4 years ago. I live on Los Angeles and he was certainly embraced by his teammates and the fans. 

Is there anything that he’s done that shows he’s actually crazy? He just seems like a young guy with a ton of energy. He makes questionable plays but his teammates and coaches seem to love him and as far as I know he’s never actually hurt anyone. 

Honestly, I would have been okay with Logan dying if a) it had made a little more sense and b) hadn’t been stuck in the coda like an afterthought.

Oh I agree it’s clunky as in terms of writing.. But having Logan leave would surely stilll piss off the fans (possibly more? I dunno, potential reconciliation vs the character actively torpedoing a relationship the fans are invested in)

Uh no, it isn’t. For starters, Veronica had already defeated the villain. The man responsible is already in jail, and Logan’s death didn’t lead Veronica on revenge plot. You can’t say he was a plot device when his death was a consequence rather than a motivation.
