At the risk of offending, this is classic Indian Stockholm Syndrome.

I find it hard to believe race doesn’t play a role in these cases. It’s no coincidence that most of the significant, sports-related paradigm shifts in domestic or sexual violence occur when it’s a black man that gets caught.
