We have a waterproof mattress pad and this is the route I’m tempte to take but she’s my step so we only have her half the week, I think this approach would have to be a consolidated effort and her mom is unlikely to be down with what that entails (and to be fair, I don’t know if I am either!)

In keeping with the ignorant bigot theme noted above, I would theorize many South Asians suffer the anti-Islam racism to a degree, regardless of their religion, and so may be more cautious about supporting Trump and his ilk.

As a woman of colour who works in advertising, this is encouraging. Senior leadership in my agency is actually primarily female (we are but a cog in a more male network), but they’re all white. In a city that is extremely diverse, with clients who reflect that, it’s getting old.
Huge Jays fan, attend many games a year. Went to my first Raps game a couple years ago and was blown away at how diverse it was. As a a poc, I’d never really felt out of place at Jays games but man did I feel comfortable at a basketball game.
