Yeah I’m not super hot on it either. Maybe with a few more listens, but also sometimes I wonder if I’m genuinely out of touch with what’s current/hot. I was around for Jodeci’s actual heyday, and while some samples from my era I love (Forbidden Fruit, Poetic Justice), this one... not so much.

I think that sale strategy has really affected them as well. I will never pay full price at The Gap or Banana because things are 40% literally every week. J Crew started discounting regularly and it’s become the same thing, I won’t buy anything full price when I can get a $90 shirt for $30 if I wait two weeks.

I got a gorgeous pendant chain from Factory and I get compliments on it all the time, it easily looks like their regular pieces but at a much more reasonable price point.

The worst is when a lack of tact is disguised under a veil of concern. Oh, I’m just asking all these nosy-ass questions because I’m concerned.
