Depends on who the third party is really. There are port houses that put out good work. Take Demiurge on Mass Effect. If you delete or move the Living Quarters where they conceived the child, they’ll stay permanently pregnant. Hopefully fixable in a patch.

There’s also a bug where if you get them pregnant, then destroy the Living Quarters they conceived in, the pregnant woman will never *ever* give birth. My Star Paladin Cross has been hanging out preggo in the Radio Station for 3 days now.

Assuming that the console isn’t dummied out of the console versions, I’m betting that it’ll take all of a week to either enable it or recreate it. After all, the mods have to have the same scripting capabilities the console allows (and far more), so it makes sense that the commands would all be accessible.

I suppose I could play as a Dragoon (go Kain!) until I decide whether to do anything else...

Which is pretty well exactly the plan. Why have the main game without all the expansion stuff? I couldn’t imagine playing EQ1 without expansions, or WoW without them. Was really hoping I could get in for a 25-ish investment to try things out.
