Unfortunately, such a thing has never happened before, so it’s impossible to predict. Could be anyone, really.

I mean, he’s already telling people he plans to crash the economy when he guts the federal government like a private equity CEO who just acquired a media company from Univision.
“The BBC would like to apologize for the error in programming and regrets any inconvenience it may have caused. Those responsible have been sacked”
If only there were a handy .gif to express how I’m shocked, shocked!, well not that shocked.
I don’t have an EV so I have zero context for this number. How many kWh would be an average “fill up” at this place? How does it compare to other pay charging options? How does it compare to what I’d pay at home?
Trump signs massive tariffs on China products.
“’unknown cargo detection and evidence collection system’ designed to prevent vehicle owners from becoming a “blind mule” for drug traffickers.”
What’s crazy is that I still have this argument with people who, 30 years later, still thing it was some frivolous suit. Took a class in law school about product liability torts and corporate response and we went over this case. I’ll never get the image of those burns out of my mind.
This. Those burns were horrific. And the lady originally just wanted them to cover her medical bills. When McDonalds refused, she was forced to lawyer up and take them for everything she could. And McDonalds deserved it for being recalcitrant shitheads.
That whole McDonalds story is a tremendous example of how a corporation would prefer to dump money into PR than actually do the right thing after they screw up because they deemed the PR cheaper.
Before anyone says anything about the frivolity of the McDonald’s case, go look at the pictures.
I am soo fed up with this site. I’ve accessed a few articles throughout the day and as I scroll down I keep getting rerouted to a Root slideshow article on Olympians.
I understand that times are tough for Jalopnik right now, but whoever is currently maintaining your site has made it nigh-unreadable. Whenever you scroll to the bottom of an article, it leaves the article and takes you to a random Root web page. It’s absolutely maddening and I won’t be returning until it’s fixed,…
Me too.
yep same here. It’s like kinja is saying, “get off this website and get back to work.”
This happened to me as well
Yes, happening to me as well. Very weird.
Sorry to hijack the thread, but something very weird is going on with Kinja. (This is one of very few articles where I can make it to the comments.)
Something seriously wrong with this page. It keep automatically sending me to The Root. It’s done it over half a dozen times already. The only way I could completely scroll down and open comments without triggering it was to scroll verrrrrry slowwwwwwly and then wait 30 seconds before clicking on comments.
Dude, paragraphs.
