While this is definitely an ongoing issue, over prescription of antibiotics has zero to do with a fungal outbreak/drug resistant fungus. Over prescription of anti-fungals/fungicide, sure. But, definitely not antibiotics.

The really dumb question: Why does she even need a degree? What could it possibly do for her? Why would her parents pay 500k to get her into a good school when they could put that same money toward ... idk, launching a clothing line or acting classes or some other kind of self promotion more in line with this woman’s

I’m just confused as to why he did it. Like, what did he get out of this? Didn’t he think that he’d be found out eventually?

Guys like this are not just terrible for lying about this having happening to them, but destroying the future credibility of others.

I cannot understand the point of posting someone else’s picture just so people tell you how pretty A PERSON WHO ISN’T YOU is.

The procedure that would be followed would differ by provider and hospital. There’s a case in the documentary ‘After Tiller’ that exemplifies this - a french woman with a healthy 35 wk pregnancy requests an abortion and the provider refuses to do it because it’s not safe. There is a ‘point of no return’ of sorts, but

However, one of the things that I struggle to explain to even my more liberal friends is the procedure that would be followed if a woman with a viable fetus were to seek an abortion for non-medical reasons (“just because”).”

I had an abortion at 15 weeks to remove my already dead fetus. Although it was simple and quick the process, quite frankly, sucked. It hurt, I felt sick and sore for a couple of days afterwards.

Unfortunately there is no amount of sane, rational articles from professionals that will ever, ever, change the minds of anti-choice folks. I give up. They willfully ignore all information that is actually fact-based and informative. Just like they do with so many other subjects. I say time and time again on here how

Fuck everyone in this story except for the girl and the police who found her. I hope all of these terrible adults get exactly what they deserve.

I’m sorry, how do I sign up for this condition?

I wouldn’t be shocked if some of the girls who are actually competing won’t want to spend a lot of time talking about it. In addition to it being traumatic, this is their one moment to not just compete, but to also turn all of that into a bit of minor celebrity that becomes a somewhat longer lasting pay day

I don’t want to get into the business of questioning accusers’ stories (as has been happening since time immemorial).

I am done with calling out the actresses on this shit. Call out the magazine, the conglomerate who owns the magazine, etc. This is not her fault. We’re playing games with women who want to help because they arent 100% perfect meanwhile people are getting away with rampant discrimination, assault etc.

It was tacky and a big faux pas. It was like clearing his sinuses in front of a world audience when he knew he was on camera.

Katmandu seems to be an MRA. FUCK HIM/HER.

Also the makers of that knew exactly what they were doing every time they made a connection with confirmed abusers and Bryan Singer. It was so pointed but just vague enough.

Sexual abusers are overwhelmingly male.

I watched this a couple weeks ago, and it is totally insane. The story line about Marc Collins-Rector and DEN is so incredibly bonkers. There is no way the new Freddie Mercury movie, directed by pretty-much-everyone-knows-he’s-an-abuser Bryan Singer, comes out without all this coming up again.

They don’t face lighter consequences.
