Just guessing a lot of folks have never watched OTA TV. The thing about Aereo is one had to keep paying, which is why I cut the cord to begin with. Netflix and Amazon and Hulu Plus are just more money suckers. But the DVR aspect is pretty nice except for the price. It's hell being so cheap!

I have said this before but I get a lot of OTA channels with my $7 rabbit ears and then I also can stream movies and TV shows from my cheap laptop hooked up via HDMI cable to my TV for free. All these other solutions just seem wonky in comparison.

I have two Chromecast's and really feel they were a waste of money. Most of the "good apps" are pay based offerings like HBO Go. I stream all of my TV shows and Movies from third parties etc. for free and Chromecast does not provide access. I end up having to use my pc. I keep waiting but...
