Here is a transcript of the argument:

Smart words.

Agreed. I can't imagine a better car to get this treatment. It looks rather cool. Some people like the power of these cars, others like the attention. The lights really lean toward attention-getting in a good way.

I found one of those in perfect condition on ebay recently... I tried to convince my wife how awesome it is. The debate lasted for a solid 10 minutes of pointing at the screen and squeeing like a pig. In the end, she still thinks it is ugly as all hell.

I guess I am going to speak up for the poor guys here... Affordable, to me, means less than 5k. You can get a nice 2nd gen Rx7 for less than 2k. I think if you take care of the rotary and treat it well, it will be worth good money in the future because it will age well.

I just read through all the comments and this answer is the best. Seriously, you can find a DelSol for less than 2k easy for sale. It's a very nice looking car that is aging well. I am surprised that the demand for them is not taking the price higher. I'm considering picking one up next year when I part from my

Seriously, the coolest thing I have ever seen today.

I should stop by there at some point). Anyways, if your friends have a cozy/greasy jalop club in VT, I am all ears.

Heh, I enjoyed reading that as well. I was disappointed when I acquired an awesome car for Lemons, rallied a bunch of friends to join in, sent in the application and got approved for the CT race 2 years ago... only to have my team bail when they realized they didn't really have any money to contribute. Bunch of poor

And somewhere out there... Bill Caswell just wiped a tear from his eye.

While I do like a lot of the suggestions here. My heart still goes out to the AMC Marlin.

Oh, that was priceless. Heart Clicky for you.

Hahah... Caldor! Can't say that I shopped there much. I was more a fan of Lechmere and PK Zylas. XD

My high school friend Conner had one of these back in '94.

The 13B in my '88 is an amazing engine. I love the smooth feel that resonates through the car when it is running. <3

He should have just sealed the trunk and installed the sub in the rear seat.

Yarp! Don't taze me bro!
