The rumor is that iphone 5S will come in several colors similar to the Lumia. I wonder of Nokia patented them.

I have a mini at home among several windows computers. Very nice hardware but I cant stand the OS or their "ecosystem" and being forced into the itunes environment. It does nothing but run XBMC now. Obviously they are doing something right since their fans are devoted, numerous and outspoken, but I don't get it.

I'd be very curious to find out at what number of handsets sold they would consider the investment of time worthwhile. 10 million could be out there by year end. 20 million, maybe if Chinese sales go well in Q1 now that the Lumias are going on sale. 20 million would be a lot of potential customers to ignore.

Dave is the worst offender when it comes to fake pricing, which really undercuts his case here, although Darryl makes my skin hurt when he tells me that's the wow factor while he examines a pair of badly worn sneakers that smell through my TV set.

Is it really portrayed as a fair contest where the winner is Dave Hester by virtue of his 6 $500 bags of dirty socks and old boxer shorts and a pile of old Service Merchandise catalogs he values at $250, all appraised by expert Dave Hester based on Dave Hester's fever dreams?

I don't think we can do that without Seoul being crushed with conventional artillery.

I don't get it. Measurable sales have been remarkable. Yet people still log on here to say WP8 and the 920 aren't selling. 4.2 million sold in a month, and projected 10 million by 1/1/13. By 1st quarter next year there are going to be a flurry of articles about the growing market share and a third viable mobile

Decimation of large portions of the population in South Korea and Japan (which are friends and allies), including our troops in SK and Okinawa, Yokosuka, etc would be a pretty terrible best case scenario.

I think this will be a remarkable, albeit expensive, set for people like my elderly mother and people who couldn't care less about audio and I imagine it will be the best selling TV on the market. If you use an AV processor or receiver and have other source components like a blu ray player, HTPC or gaming device, all

On what basis do you say Nokia and HTC are not selling well? They have exceeded analysts expectations, especially Nokia with the 920 outselling supply since its launch. 10mm WP8 phones are projected to be sold by 1/1. Maybe 1/4 -1/5 of iphone sales over the same period, which is a very strong number for another OS.

Atom CPUs are pointless and suck. Not sure why anyone would want them to drop i5 in favor of an Atom. The next gen i5 chips are supposed to be much more efficient, so I imagine the 2nd generation will have a longer battery life. Not really fair to compare the Pro's battery life to a regular tablet in the first

I need something that is useful on week long vacations and business trips via citrix, since I still use a desktop at the office and home. I hate lugging a heavy laptop, so I was planning to get an ultrabook until Surface Pro was announced. The ipad can work in a pinch with a keyboard but not quite useful or powerful

WP8 sales have been very strong. NOK stock is trending up strongly based on WP8 sales and analysts are saying around 10 million WP8 devices sold by 1/1/13, so were you right?

I think there are a lot of people interested in pro for the very reason that RT is not moving - they want a combo unit so they can avoid paying $500 for a consumption device and another grand for a productivity device - so MS put something out that their own product is designed to draw market share from.

I read earlier today that they may hit 10 million WP8 devices by the end of the year, which would make WP8 a viable third mobile OS with a future and the 920 is largely responsible for that happening.

Paying to read Jennifer Rubin articles is already a thing at fetish dungeons.

In NYC, T mobile's network has been better for me than any of the other network and I have tried all of them, and their price is substantially less than the competitors. I'm happy pretty happy with the Androids and WP8 phones I have used on their network, but adding another option is a good thing.

This game on PS3 is the reason I abandoned the system and switched to PC gaming. It had 3-4 minute load times every time I moved around the map.

trademarks do not work that way.

My last phone weighed the same as the 920 and I just got tired of it pulling my pants down. My decision to upgrade was largely based on getting a lighter phone so despite the 920's advantages I preferred the 8x. I don't doubt that most consumers probably care far less than I did about an extra 55 grams but for me it
