3.5 stars for something nobody should buy. Generous.

I'm a big fan of the design, apps on the desktop and the overall feel of it. It was easier for me to start using than Mac's OS which I have on a mini and is uncomfortable for me for whatever reason.

Very interested in windows phone. I'll go with the 8x though. I hate two things about my G2 - weight and the boot time - so this sounds like a deal breaker.

The review kind of makes me want it. Weight is acceptable and even a tiny bit lighter than my dated G2. There doesn't seem to be anything demonstrably wrong with it and it has a nice big screen you could actually touch type on.

I am the first one with my hand up when you ask the question who wants a tablet that is also a laptop. Because I want portability, convertibility, desk and couch use, I want a consumption device for the airplane and a very light laptop replacement when travel. I want a ultrabook that is also a tablet. I'm very

The Pro will be a better measure of exactly what they are bringing to the table. RT is a tablet with an innovative keyboard cover.

Resolution and specs really aren't important.

I have the last version and it plays HD video very nicely. It replaced an atom machine that was utterly incapable. There is no reason this wouldn't perform better than the last model.

I would venture to guess that a Mercedes has a better engine, suspension and tramission than a Camry. This is like justifying a Mercedes based on the paint job and leather seats.

Is the keyboard "obviously" lackluster? The other reviews don't seem to agree.

Wired, Engadget and Anandtech had high praise for it. The Verge was harsher but gave it 7/10. Giz ranked it one of the worst tech devices I have ever seen them review. This review seems like an outlier.

Its easy to see that you are missing the point of this device. It is not about specs or performance or price for that matter. For more than double the price you will be able to put your phone in your pocket and get data on your giant nonphone phone. But really itt is about intangible things. How does it feel in

The "on the go" comparison is tough, since you're adding an additional $130 to the price, on top of the existing $130 differential. So for more than double the price, the ipad mini wins. Just get a bigger tablet; the universe of people looking for LTE in a giant non-phone phone has to be all of a dozen people.

That is a very roundabout way of saying "not well."

I can't wait to get my hands on one, elevate it above my head to a cheering throng, and announce to the world that I am the champion of buying two nearly identical consumer products twice in the same year. I am the champion of giving you my money! Adore me!

I see your concern trolling and I'm impressed you can publish it in article form.

I've been using blackberries since circa 1999/2000 when it looked like this. It is really hard to do work without a keyboard, but the blackberry is functionally useless for reviewing documents. It is an outstanding email device with terrific battery life but single use devices are impractical.

Obviously based on the comments to this article people can. Not well, but the effort is adorable.

+ eleventy million

Pro will have the i5 though. Wouldn't you expect it to cost more than an i3 laptop?
