Patty pat pat, read the whole damn article 😂

It’s a B.B. piece: always read to the end lest you get a nasty surprise when you comment about what you THINK the article is about.

Reading the whole post cuts into valuable time that could be used to post idiotic knee-jerk reactions.

Buc-ee’s is absolutely run by terrible people, but as an honest question, is there a gas station chain that isn’t run by ghouls of some sort?

Indeed, the petroleum industry is renowned for otherwise being awesome companies run by awesome people. Why pay those cretins at Buc-ee’s if you can further enrich ExxonMobil?

Sorry, still looks like a Corolla.

Kia Forte lookin ass car

I actually liked the way the 1st gen GLA looked. [As long as you paid their ridiculous price to upgrade the headlights to not be halogen reflectors] It was a cute little wagon. After riding in a CLA250, it was a nonstarter as the interior was so cheap it was appalling.

Just glancing at the preview shots on the book site, he has access to some seriously impressive cars. The XJ220 and 911 GT1, for example.

The 2 Series Gran Coupe is one of the most ungainly looking cars on the road today. Not a single angle looks good. BMW’s design language REALLY doesn’t translate well to a FWD platform. Same for the 2nd and 3rd gen X1/X2. The dash-to-axle ratio is just too short for that tall, upright grille. Makes the cars look like…

His youtube channel is a goldmine too, such a talented guy with pure love for cars. Thanks for the reminder, I need to order myself a Christmas present, I forgot to preorder it months ago.

The BMW XM.

In my eyes any Tesla is discounted because I suspect anyone buying one today is going in with eyes wide open, or they DGAF about their car somehow embarrassing them, or both.

Car people would legit rather receive windshield wipers or washer fluid than the vast majority of generic automobilia given to them each holiday season.

My first pick? The K5. The blazer name is taken, so let’s go with the GMC version, the Jimmy. The current Canyon AT4X/ Colorado ZR2 platform is straight up awesome, and recent. It would be the perfect basis to bring a Wrangler/Bronco fighter to market. MAKE IT SO!

One the engine was rebuilt with steel cylinder sleeves (an unofficial fix, Chevy didn’t offer it), the worst of its problems were gone. It was still sluggish, as most American cars of its era were, but at least the engine ran reliably.

After learning about trailing throttle oversteer the hard way and wrecking Mom’s Corvair, I was sentenced to driving her replacement Vega for a few months in my teens. Despite it’s failings and flaws, which were present from day one to it’s early demise, it did handle well (compared to every barge I had driven to that…

Just try the 1981 Pontiac T1000. Darn thing disintegrated on me.

Now playing

One thing cool about the Vega is the Verti-Pak rail car that was developed to ship these. If only GM had spent the money for that on the actual car it might not have sucked so bad.

Gotta be the Vega. While the Mustang II featured in the article was awful, the Vega took it to a whole other level. Prematurely rusted, drank oil like a 2-stroke, had this stupid sealed air cleaner...
