I couldn’t come up with it when I saw the survey, but now it seems obvious: Lexus LFA. They are still marvels over a decade later, they are rare, beautiful, and are already being sought after for collections so they’ll stay in great shape.

If they ever found that Type 57, particularly by that 2124, that’d likely be the first legitimate billion dollar car ever sold, in my opinion.
Two wagons: Volvo V60 T8-PE and the Audi RS6 Avant. I am in distress every day because I don’t have either.
Honestly, nothing new catches my eye these days.
The Ferrari Roma is a strong candidate.
Are you kidding? It will be all of the same cars that show up and win today! The mega-wealthy owners will just take them home and gently roll them into their vacuum-sealed clean rooms until the next big opportunity to show off their million dollar toy collections.
Back in 2016 I had an S550 Cabriolet for a week to review. Like most cars in the MB press fleet it was optioned to the hilt, including the $1800 Swarovski crystals surrounding the headlights. Without that option this SL680 is a poser car. Sure, you can have the Maybach logo embossed in the leather and print it all…
Money can’t buy taste.
Beat me to it. :-) I presume the Polestar 3 will be good to drive, but I much prefer the pricing of the EX-30 given how EVs depreciate even faster than regular ICE cars.
All of the press photos are showing the optional 20" wheels on them. Those 18" are going to look hilariously small.
And 245 width, definitely for range maximization. They’re also the stock size of the cop Charger tires, you can get the Goodyear Eagle “Enforcer” tires in that size.
This is on my bucket list. My bestie’s cousin is married to Ray Everham, and they are bigwigs at the Amelia show every year. We just haven’t managed to coordinate our schedules to make it happen. Tougher for her being in Maine than me here in Florida.
Probably drive on the track at Sebring in my ‘99 Impreza 2.5 RS. It wasn’t a race or anything, but they let people take their cars out for a lap.
When you have nearly as many tourists as citizens that’s gonna be a problem though.
I’d say your final sentence is why it is disqualified from this contest. IF it weren’t for Back to the Future, but there was Back To The Future and that is why it actually is a cool sports car. For the DeLorean, at least, this is not the darkest timeline.
Obviously the DeLorean.
Boo. Boo, I say. They went for the unconventional, they succeeded with the unconventional.
Does the Mustang II count as a sports car? If so that.
Everything in every class of car is heavier now.
You have to be careful with drinking water sometimes.
