first generation NSX is pretty fun to drive.

Outside of drag racing, it was a nice car and was plenty quick.

All 3 cars have been involved in accidents.

Anything on this car that is even remotely consumable has been consumed and replaced at least once. That’s no guarantee that that it hasn’t seen the last 50k miles without an oil change, but it is no more likely here than on a 100k mile car.

That is how I felt when I read the price. The title made me think the Porsche was sub $5,000. $9,500 seems expensive for an undesirable car.

It may seem counterintuitive, but if one is going to wrecklessly buy a 911, it makes sense to buy one with crazy high mileage. If this car had been beaten on and not maintained, it would have died long ago. The only way to get it to survive 243k miles, is to take good mechanical care of it.

Good news is that if it hasn’t gone kablooey after 243,000 miles, you don’t need to worry about the IMS bearing. Those usually grenaded before 20,000 miles.

They’re both great cars, but the SL is way more comfortable if you don’t live in a place with smooth roads, and while aggressive it’s not all LOOK AT ME I’M A SPORTSMOBILE
