Sensible public transportation solutions and car-free city centers will actually make driving better for car enthusiasts.

There are countless people on the road who see driving as a chore, a task they’d rather not be bothered with at best, and a burden to suffer through at worst. Just as I have the freedom to drive,

Very true, I’ve always referred to the Toyobaru twins as “modern 944s.”

I’m biased because I have a 968, but it would be amazing to see a modern take on the Porsche 944. With the next Boxster/Cayman going full electric, I often daydream about a new entry-level ICE Porsche sports car.

Others are in favor of their Cybertrucks developing orange stains, saying that they’re looking forward to the patina the stainless steel may develop.

The G6155 Interceptor! The updated version in the Playstation 2 game looked pretty awesome too.

That Parking Garage level was so difficult, I remember looking up cheat codes for the game, and one guide actually walked you through how to edit the game files in order to skip that mission.

What’s really great is, they bring it back in Driver: San Francisco, and the way you unlock it is hilarious. The first time you

I’ve been playing Cyberpunk 2077 a lot and I’m completely enamored with their designer’s take on retrofuturistic design. The cars in game are split between modern-day concept cars and 1980s concept cars. It’s hard to pick just one, but below are a few of my favorites.

We’re well into the Txx sequences now, but these always gave me a light chuckle. They wouldn’t let my buddy get LONGBOI for his Jetta Sport Wagon, yet we have thousands of plates that say CUM on them.

How do these even work?

Mk4 Volkswagen hood latches. Perhaps they still use a similar design today, but I personally experienced this elaborate mess with my 2005 Golf TDI.

Germans certainly take pride in their engineering - they just don’t know when to stop engineering!

I have a 968 with very similar handles. I love the weight of the release latch, and the sound it makes during opening and closing the door is deeply satisfying.

This was such a brilliant design detail and something I’d wouldn’t have necessarily expected from Lincoln.

That’s good to know. I have a Volvo V90 T5, so just a turbocharged 4-cylinder with FWD. No issues in 77k miles other than a check-engine light that was reset. I’m hoping this “simpler” drivetrain proves to be that much more reliable.

I love the idea of Volvo’s twin-charged engines, but I have to wonder how such a complex engine will hold up over time, and how easy they’ll be to get into & work on.

With that in mind, perhaps I’m less annoyed at her and more annoyed that this is how the game works.

That’s a fair point!

Supercar Blondie - she appeals to the lowest common denominator of “car guys,” in that she’s simply an attractive woman fawning over a cool car. We get almost zero information about the car she’s showcasing, which is all the more frustrating considering the types of vehicles she films with. She gets open access to the

Severely underrated comment.
