That’s a very good point.

The Maserati Ghibli, and I say this as a former Maserati salesman.

The styling aged fast, the build quality never really improved over the years, the V-6 engines have about a 60,000 mile lifespan before you start gambling, the switchgear is cheap and takes a lot away from the admittedly beautiful leather seats,

Mansory a.k.a. “Man, Sorry...”

No one needs a car with real wood and leather adorning every surface that was hand picked by an artisan.

I didn’t realize how attractive that IP is. Very nice

QOTD potential here - which car has the best instrument panel? I know the Lexus IS300's chronograph style cluster would be up there.

I adore the Quadrifoglio, but those two are barely comparable. The Giulia has more power and weighs 700 lbs less. Of course it’s going to be faster.

That’s appears to be Aventurine Green

This is one of the most interesting pieces I've read here in a while. Keep up the good work!

A1975 Porsche 911 Carrera, prepared by Kelly Moss Road & Race that’s currently on consignment at the showroom where I work.

Imagine this “E-Performance” tech added to the V-12.

Hear hear.

A cabin full of glossy, flat panels has absolutely no sense of warmth or comfort. It’s the difference between a cold, contemporary office and a relaxing and inviting living room.

I am so ready. Tesla stans are absolutely insufferable.

My parents have had some fairly interesting cars for not being “car people” per se. Having traveled around the world for work before I was born, I found some of their cars to be cool simply by virtue of being old or foreign-market - they had an Opel Kadett in Belgium, a Volkswagen Polo in England, a Toyota Corona in

On the other hand, I’ve witnessed several horror stories about McLaren reliability and build quality. They are excellent when they work, and recent models may well be better, but early models up until at least the 720S are a crapshoot of oil consumption, cooling issues, electronic issues, or flat-out engine failure.

I absolutely love the idea of this, but this particular example is basically “someone else’s project,” and it’s that much more frightening considering that it’s a 20 year old German car. Without some serious reconditioning, it appears that this car is in its final years, and I think something this cool deserves better

The fact that I STILL see 90s Saturns on the road really says something about how robust they are.

Heard. I think some designs are far better than others - I don’t think this is the best looking car, but I appreciate how bold and unique it is, and I like how sharply it contrasts with the blocky Ioniq 5. I think there’s time to refine this language into something more attractive, but it’s already on the right track.

What an absolutely spectacular glow-up. I think the last Prius Prime looked pretty good, but this is a genuinely gorgeous design. It stands out that much more because I understand and appreciate that the Prius has always been designed around the functions of aerodynamics and efficiency. I’m glad they’ve managed to

I autocrossed my 968 for the first time last weekend. She’s definitely got moves, and besides, Francis Bacon once said “There is no exquisite beauty without some strangeness in the proportion.”
