What's up friends šŸ¤˜šŸ½

For $110K, you can actually drive one of these every day. Thatā€™s Porsche 911 territory, and honestly these are pretty comfortable.

I absolutely adore the Mangusta. I had my own unique encounter with one as we were leaving Amelia Island after Concours this past March. We saw this car blowing steam out of from the back, and the owner eventually pulled it over to the side of the road where my buddy and I stopped to assist him where we could.

I saw one of these in Atlanta, GA of all places, going in the oncoming direction. I recognized it from a distance, but wrote it off thinking that there was no way it could actually be a Jensen, but when it passed me I actually shouted out loud.

Theyā€™re much smaller in person that I expected!Ā

I posted about my Pagani experience already, but honorable mention goes to this Bugatti EB110 GT I saw in the wild during a trip to Miami.

Staging for Pagani Raduno in October, 2019 last year.

It was a Monday like any other, perhaps a bit more lethargic than most, as Petit Le Mans was that preceding weekend and race car noises were still ringing in my ear.

One of my buddies works around Braselton, GA where Road Atlanta and Chateau Elan are located, andā€¦

Reminds me of this Rover 620GSi I saw outside my office a couple years ago. I couldnā€™t fathom who would import such a car, but here it is.

Thatā€™s my friendsā€™ dealer! Great guys over at ATL JDM, always something interesting in their collection, and they donā€™t always constrain themselves specifically to JDM cars only.

This is what happens when artists design cars

There are some little quirks Iā€™ve noticed with this carā€™s sound. If you rev it to redline from idle, the ā€œoverrunā€ backfire noise kinda sounds like radio static interference, or like a small wire short circuiting. Some kind of light, crackling, ā€œzappingā€ noise.

Interestingly enough, Toyota has partnered with Tesla in the past when they built an electric version of the RAV4 back in 2012.

To be fair, this is how I felt while typing that comment.

Probably some sort of testing setup. This isnā€™t a full-fledged production version.

Sometimes stuff just works. No need to overcomplicate it.Ā

If we're being pedantic, the Taycan actually has a two-speed rear axle that shifts gears automatically.Ā

Iā€™m not even mad. This is actually fantastic.Ā

Keep being you, Mitsuoka.Ā

he Ferrari Omologata ā€“ Google says that means approved in Italian ā€“ is...

Iā€™m with you. I never found the Senna to be an attractive car at all, but the racing liveries add quite a nice element to the car.Ā

Pour another one out for COTD.

Bra-fucking-vo

I'm with you. This is exactly the kind of thing I've been craving from Maserati and I'm hoping this shift in mindset translates well to the rest of their product line.
