I was going to say, I don’t know how ‘understandable’ the DLC would be if you hadn’t played the base game.... but the pinnacle of the game actually touched me and made me sad for a moment.... which isn’t what I was expecting from a Borderlands game.

So, I really liked the first one/2nd one alot (even though it was probably the hardest) because if I got bored failing in one area, I could go try a different area and see if somethings opens up. The third I found a bit frustrating because it was pretty linear. I think this gameplay might be more fun open-world

I really liked the open-ended narrative was great and lead to me making up characters for my dungeons.  In that vein, I always thought the first game would make a kick-ass 8 episode Netflix series... each one focusing on a single character (and their past) as they dig through the various dungeons until the survivors

Now playing

I haven’t seen it, and it doesn’t look good, but there is takashi mike “as the gods will” which has a lot of similarities including the red light/green light game. I’m curious if anyone has seen it, but the trailer looks bad:

As someone who played alot of left 4 Dead 5-10 years ago, it’s showing it’s age. The inability to look down crosshairs, and the inability to run at all makes it really feel kinda sloppy compared to modern games.  I want to play B4B, but not at $60... probably pick it up when it gets to $20

I’ve enjoyed this game, which plays alot like the android game “Ticket to Earth” only that game is a lot better. Still, I like playing through the puzzles, but have hit the grind for equipment and to upgrade my complex (the colossus) and so when I’m working and don’t plan to use my phone for a while, I’ll turn it on

I don’t care if they error is in New World or your GFX card ... why bother with this game ? Is it worth the odds of losing a $500+ card? How good could this game really be?  For the first time in my life I have a decent running system, it ain’t worth wasting on  one game.

She’s great in everything I’ve seen her in.  She was great in Battlestar, Ash vs Evil Dead, Top of the Lake.  She’s a goddamn treasure.

I’m still mad that they removed the grilled stuft burrito.  That was my standby.

Although I didn’t care for the story, it would have been fine if it was skippable. At one point I got to a boss on an elevator that I had trouble with, and if I could have just replayed quickly it would have been fine. But noo... I had to unsave, run down a hallway, then watch a 2min movie before I could fight again.

I was really hoping that Tomb Raider was going to be a game about much smaller melees - maybe hunting 2 or 3 characters at a time through the brush quietly with stealth... I didn’t realize she going full Rambo.

I liked the first half, and love the comic that parts of the story are based, but the 2nd half is an incredible dumpster fire. I like the directors other stuff, but having a French surrealist director run an aliens film an english... I think that was a mistake.

It’s happening, along with the Broken Earth series.  https://www.tor.com/2021/03/15/n-k-jemisin-inheritance-hundred-thousand-kindgoms-tv-adaptation/

If this had gameplay similar to Genshin, where I feel like I’m actually playing a game and not mashing a skill timer, I might be interested. As it is, Genshin (and a few other Gacha games that I have) has already monopolized my phone except for things with excellent gameplay.  This ain’t it.

A few years ago my kids were old enough so we pulled out the Wii and our old games. There were only a few days left of the wii store and I looked at the prices of a bunch of N64/gamecube Mario/Zelda games and just thought they were overpriced. Fast forward to today: my kids have almost finished our entire stock of

Will I watch this? Yes.  Do I have high expectations after that trailer? I do not.

I was one of those people who couldn’t get on.  My internet connection was fine but 5 seconds after connecting I would get booted for lack of connection.  Tried to go through the suggested hints - reinstalling to my C: drive, turned off defender, hooked up my computer directly to ethernet (etc) but same issue. So I’ll

Really wanted to try this over the weekend when my family was out of town, but I’m getting disconnect messages the very second I join any game.  I’ve tried all the ‘fixes’ online, but nothing is working. (I was playing verminitide 2 and the division all weekend, so internet should be fine)

The only problem I have with this is that if one team is really good they can stay alive indefinitely and the match goes on forever... I would prefer like time max with some sort of tiebreaker.  Then again I don’t play vs. modes very often anymore.
